A teacher that I had sort of declared war on threw a textbook past my head once. But she was pregnant at the time, and I'd been provoking her. After that I felt so guilty about getting a pregnant lady upset enough to lose her temper like that that I left her alone.

There's a rule law that says that teachers can't hit a student. (In my countrey, at least).

Acctually (my bro did debate) its ileagal (at least where I live for a teacher to physically touch a student in any way whatsoever let alone hit them. I can understand Sam's reasoning for not wanting to make a big thing about it. It could cost this teacher their job and Sam didn't seem to be too totally distraught by it.

Yes. True. But maybe just tell the teacher how he felt. One of the teachers at my school told my friend she had no friends, and he got into BIG troble. It was funny. I hate him.....

How big was it? My Social Studies textbook is more than a thousand pages thick. Of course I think teachers shouldn't beat up on kids, 's not just, but kids should also have some respect for people who earn approximately jack taking time out of their lives to teach them the ways of the world. Or maybe it's just that I'd make a horrible teacher and end up hitting all the kids with my metal ruler.

i dont get how teachers can hit kids with chalk and throw textbooks at people and not get in trouble but if a kid says something or talks back to a teacher they have to go to the head's office!
2 people have already been expelled from my school this year. both in the high school. f course they did bad things. one girl was really stupid and not only did she send a threatening email, but she sent it with her school email!! and another girl went to the head of school's house and vandalised it with some kids from another school and 2 girls form our school. one of the girls had her bf pick her up so she ratted on them and the oldest girl got expelled and the 3rd one got suspended cos the one who got expelled was the leader and they brought an alum who was a senior last year and she could have been sued or summat. i dont know what happened to the girls who werent form my school

I was in middle school, so it was only 600 pages or so.
