I'd have to say Aunt Josephine's. Not for any reason of happiness or anything--I just think that the concept of her being eaten by leeches in Lake Lachrymose was sorta neat......well, if you know what I mean.

I thought Jacques' was very sad. We didn't even get to know him and then he just...*sob* DIED. He didn't have to be murdered. *cries*

I think Jaqques(however you spell his name) and Monty's deaths were the most tragic.

I also think the second book was the sadest book because they were happy instead of being with the Count Olaf.
