Supposing Julio Sham was thrown overboard the Prospero (I), by Olaf, then perhaps he could have found the submarine underwater, where the Baudelaire's will find him, and get confused with initials...? Yeah, like on the Official Lemony Snicket site, they had decoder thing involving your copy of the tenth book, and the message was "Many individuals have the same initials, which can lead to much injustice." Okay, just a thought. |

Yes, there are too J's in VFD (TUB) and the older one is Julio Sham. ;D

Right before the Captain S. aka J letter is the letter from Jacques to Lemony. Well, in this letter, Jacuqes mentions that Lemony must go to the Anxious Clown to get the message.
In the Captain S aka J letter, the very first paragraph mentons that if he's reading this, he was able to contact the waiter at the Anxious Clown.
So, wouldn't that mean that Captain S is Captain Snicket, aka Jacques?
