i enjoyed reading TRR. but my favorite part about TRR is in Lemony Snicket: the unauthorized autobiography: (in the person-dressing-up-like-a-cow's letter)

"'Good-bye, good-bye!' the brilliant Baudelaires called, and waved to Uncle Monty's reptiles. They stood together in the moonlight, and kept waving. . ."

Unfortunately, the book ends soon afterward, and the author does not say what happened to Uncle Monty's reptiles after the reptiles stood together in the moonlight and kept waving.

Hello everybody, I have just finished reading the second of ASOUE entitled the Reptile Room and I would like to share my review.

The beggining of the book was very good in the way of it seeming Uncle Monty would keep them OK and they would have a fun holiday in Peru but of course it doesn't turn out that way! Stephano was very cool and I enjoyed Count Olaf in disguise -does he do it again? When Uncle Monty died I was very emotional but then it started to drag little. The ending with the incredibly deadly viper leaving was sad too and I wish Uncle Monty didn't die. All in all I good book yet again and I can't wait to read the third now.

Stephano IS Count Olaf, and yes, Olaf does go incogneto - a word which here means "Once again fools the adult charicters by being in a disguise" - again. I would tell you to enjoy the rest of the series, but it is so dreadfully woeful and woefully dreadful that I am forced to use the made-up word "un-enjoy". Un-enjoy the rest of the series, minimachoman.
