I am sorry to dissapoint you but there are many discussions of TMM & TVV being boring, I only find TVV boring, because TMM is packed with lemony facts, the 200 page book beatrice game him etc. But not much happened in TVV and I was so bored reading it, and it defies the rule! every book has more pages than the previous book accept TVV, which has 257 pages, well TEE has 258 pages!

I dunno...I like the whole Jacques thing...Jacques is cool. But Hector really annoyed me. Except at the end. Finally he stood up for himself. I can't stand when people don't do that! *grr* And the Council of Elders are a whole different story altogether.

;D The Council of Elders were one of my favourite things from TVV.
And those crow hats....and so many things punishable by death...reminded me of the Queen of Hearts. ^__^

The White Knight's inventions never worked very well, in addition to being illogical (A mouse trap on a house? Ludicrous!) On the other hand, the only help they get not being very helpful seems to be exactly the kind of luck the Baudelaires get.

Hector never stood up for himself because if you break the rules you are burned at the stake. And almost everytime you speak you break the rules. When you're a member of VFD, I'd imagine you'd be sensitive about fire...
