Depressing? Someone say TB8 was depressing? That's one thing it's not...disturbing, yes. Clever, yes. Twitchifying? Ohhhh, yes. But not too depressing...*twitches in memory*

hehehehe! I remember, (did I say this? Oh well, I like repeating things.) I had just finished it, and we went to some restaurant, and we got ribs, and the idea of red meat made me sick enough, and then my sister had to go and say, "There's still blood on this!" I almost threw up, I swear. I lent it to Marianna all summer, and she didn't read it still!!!!, so I'm buying her and Marissa, who should have read it as well, copies of the Guiness Book of World Records so they can quote it. And maybe I can get them signed if I ever meet DH, so I can make them feel guilty. mwahahaha!!

I got TB8 from the library. I haven't finished it yet, but it's pretty good so far. Now that I know the characters, I decided to take the quiz of which person from it you are. I got Flan, but I'm not gonna post the HTML since someone already did. I have to take a physics exam in about 20 minutes, and I don't want to, and I know it's off topic but I need to gripe to someone (thank goodness for computers on campus, or I'd be very bored).

I just finished it today! It was awesome! And it was less scarring, or disturbing or depressing than I thought it would be. Except that page about how she doesn't eat meat anymore... that freaked me out. Guess what we ate for supper after that? Yup... hamburgers. I felt sick. Anyway, 'twas great. I want absinthe (just kidding of course, although it sounds really interesting... in a "I'm not going to do absinthe, don't worry" kind of way). Yeah.

In the book Les Miserables, there's a character who drinks absinthe. On the forum for Les Miz, someone there tried absinthe. They said it tasted bad. Thought you might want to have a forewarning if any of you do decide to try it.

Which character would this be? Grantaire? Anyway, I wasn't actually serious, I'm not reallly into you know, drugs and all... And I think it tasting bad would probably be the least of my worries.

Of course it's Grantaire. I can't picture anyone else in Les Miz doing absinthe (although it would be amusing to picture... must try a fanfic about it).
I've gotten to the 'October 31' entry in TB8. It seems a lot of it is Flan babbling drunkedly, and friends crying. I know what will happen later in the day, but the day is just dragging on and the suspence is driving me crazy.

I thought it would be Grantaire... but I haven't finished Les Miserables (the book/s) yet, so I wasn't sure. Apparently non-drug absinthe is legal, now... but where's the fun in that? Only kidding... And, yeah, the end is just a lot of neverending random drunken craziness... Anyway, I'm trying to convert my friend to Handlerism, so I gave her TB8, which she loved. So, I'm going to order her WYM sometime... and then we'll take accordian lessons together. lol

mm...accordian. TB8 and WYM were by far two of the greatest books of all time. It's annoying that not many people know about DH!

Hey, apparently he's got a new book called Adverbs. But I can't find it on Amazon.com. I wonder what it's about. Can't wait to buy it.

It probably has something to do with words that describe verbs.

?? BTW, I was going around today, asking people, "Do you want to play croquet?" And if they answered yes, I screamed and ran as far and fast away as I could. Hey, croquet is great! I'm pretty good at it, if I do say so myself.
