"If you don't give me a basket of strawberrys right now, I'll poke you with this large stick". Or are to busy sleeping in thier beds or are hiding in a broom closet of a mustard factory, disgiused as a dustpan to fool the night watchwoman," from THE SLIPPERY SLOPE. I love how Daniel Handler writes! ;D

Hey, that was awsome. Although it was not wacky, it made sense, and it was not slippery like handshakes, housepets, or raw carrots. ( Sorry, Ijust said that because I love The Slippery Slope.)

Like chicken pox, brocolli, and violen recitals, Mr. Snicket's writing style and literary allusions can be very sickening to young children. After all, who would want to read about details as wretched as a tale of three orphans, many villians, and a secret organization devoted to bringing justice to the world or simply ruining it?
^_^ Yes, his writing style is awesome, I think!
