Well then let's resurrect the thread with some NEW news.
I was browsing the web site of the Naperville book store today. Under their Coming Attractions, they posted: [glow=red,2,300]...be forewarned, we expect November 4th to be a very Unfortunate day.[/glow] It would appear he is returning to the scene of the crime book signing.

No more news right now. November is still a long way off, but I will continue to monitor the site.

Tickets are now available for Lemony Snicket's appearance in Downer's Grove.
I ordered mine this morning, minutes after they went on sale. I got numbers 60 and 62 for the book signing! Yay for low numbers!

Oh yea.
They have two stores and each store got half the tickets. One store got the even, the other odd.
They usually call like 40 people at a time. Once you're in line, you can kind of reshuffle so you can stay with your party.

WHOA. Tickets are out. I must discuss this with my parents.
Northwestern has a college visit something or another on the fifth, perhaps that's reasonable excuse to go up to Chicago for the weekend and see Snicket on the fourth.

I hope you get your tickets soon if you're going. The tickets seemed to be going fast when Mary and I each called yesterday morning.

Oh dear. I'm planning to talk to them tomorrow; I hope that's not too late.
Edit: Ordered tickets this morning, numbers 346, 348, 350.
