Beat THAT is simple.
You post something, and the next person posts something else that beats whatever it was that you posted.

e.g:
Person #1: My Spoon is awesome, beat THAT!
Person #2: My hammer bends your spoon, beat THAT!
Person #3: My furnace melts your hammer, beat THAT!
etc...
