So let's say, I live in Los Angeles and they had fittings for Lemony Snicket to work on Feb. 4th through the 11th and I missed out on them because I didn't call in!!!!! I can't believe I missed out on working on this movie for 6 days straight! Has anyone here worked on Lemony Snicket yet? Also what do you suggest I do to get booked on this? I live like 5 mins. from the set and it's filming on my birthday I'm dying to be in this!!!!

well the scene is the Wedding Scene and they basically just need audience, that's all the fitting was for, but I missed it, if I wouldn't have missed it, I would be in it. All they need are people to cheer or people to clap etc, but it would be so exciting to say you're part of the movie, even if it's only such a minor role.

Oh... agreed! Ummm... can you call in anyway and try to get in? When was the deadline to call? Maybe if you call as soon as possible and the deadline for calling wasn't so long ago you could just get in. Or maybe you could hang around the set on those days and just hope they let you in?

yea, I might try to hang around the set, I keep calling and there's no info about the movie yet, so when I find out, I'm going to "spec" the set, which is when you show up and hope they say you can be on it. I kinnnnnnnnnnda know Jim, so maybe he'll see me and invite me in I WISH!!!!! I will definately have spoilers! and if Jim allows it, I'll take some photos.

Don't get your hopes up. You'll have to sign pages of non-disclosure agreements if you see anything related to the film...you're certainly not going to get permission to post any set photos or reveal details about the film. If it was that easy, the information would already be available...believe me.

true damocles, true. altho I have given set reports before, I try to not give any spoilers or any of that, and I never share photos, plus they probably wouldn't allow photos on set. I'm never really one to take photos on set or any of that anyway. hey swans, what made you think I was 14? lol anyway, yea, I would be happy with ANY part, I'll be the rock on the curb for all I care, just to be part of this movie! I heard they're filming until April 17th, so maybe there is still some hope

If you enjoy being sued, go ahead and reveal some plot details, should you discover them. Film studios generally do not have a sense of humor when it comes to undermining multi-million dollar marketing campaigns.

I wouldn't reveal anything big, all I'd reveal is my experience on a set, I used to work on alot of movies and tv shows and we'd always discuss our experiences with each other, but it wasn't like we were giving away spoilers.

dont you people realize that if you are in hopes of getting even an extra role, you must signa contract? You could get arrested for snapping photos on the set of the movie, and Jim would NEVER allow you to take pics. He could get in some serious trouble if he found out that another pic might get all over the net. I wish you luck on getting an extra role, but let everything that you might see be your own, special experience, and dont go all over the net giving your chances away.

I've worked on many many film sets and never had to sign any kind of paper, I've never taken photos or said anything about a film or tv show I was on that would reveal anything, the only show I revealed anything about was ER because it was my scene. I was a patient on ER. Why does everyone think I'm some kind of ravenous stalker/papparazzi?? I just want to work on the movie because I love Jim AND the set is only 3 minutes from me. I could really care less about taking pics on the set. I was KIDDING when I said maybe Jim would let me take pics. I already KNOW that it's against set regulations to take pics on ANY set, not just Lemony Snicket. I've seen people get taken off of sets before, once on Bruce Almighty because I told the director the guy was being a pain, and they immediately removed him. Plus he had alcohol on his breath and he was ruining the scene. I have more respect than you know for people, I'm not starstruck and I could really care less if I get an autograph from a human being that just happens to be famous. So don't tell me that I have no idea what I'm getting into, I know rules on the set and I know how to respect them.

I've worked on many many film sets and never had to sign any kind of paper...Why does everyone think I'm some kind of ravenous stalker/papparazzi??... I want to be upfront here and say I personally don't think you're a stalker by any stretch. However, I don't know what kind of projects you've worked on in the past, but Lemony has more secrecy surrounding it than most. Not like Star Wars or Lord of the Rings level information clamp-downs, but Paramount is definitely keeping their cards close to their chest. Even if you've never signed an NDA in your past work as an extra, you could expect to this time. Then again, I believe basic NDA clauses are built into your paperwork with the extras casting agency. While we all appreciate that you would want to share with the group, myself included, I'm simply saying that chances are you would not be allowed to in this instance. As for your joke about taking set photos, most people would have absolutely no idea that you were kidding unless they know you personally, so you must forgive those who took it at face value. No offense meant.

well, I dunno, I've worked on very secretive sets before and I could really care less about telling info about what I work on because basically I don't care about the set. I was just saying I could tell about my experiences, not give away the whole movie. I know better than that, I'm not an 8 year old.
