Hmmm... could be.... but there's nothing really to suggest it, is there?
Well... wait a minute! Look at the snowman! Could be just a coincidence, but do you think it's a hint at who was hiding in the snowman in ZITS? And the background is FIRE! Promising, methinks...

He looks like a grown-up Klaus, but I don't know if Mr. Baudelaire would smoke a pipe. Only bad people smoke in ASOUE, and in most entertainment.

Good point... Still, Charles Baudelaire (the real one) smoked... and he's basing the series on the Baudelaires, so maybe later he'll try to point out that all smoking isn't bad... like he points out that morality isn't all black and white?? I dunno... But those mushrooms at the end of TSS must mean something... riiiiiight? right??
I never heard mention of the Bauds having a dog, though.
Still... the snowman... and the fire...

Didn't it talk about Mr. Baudelaire reading the newspaper somewhere?

Not sure. You know what we need? A really super inclusive ASOUE database or something so we can just search for "Newpaper" and "Baudelaire" and get all the references.
Sadly, I think it's too huge a project for anyone to attempt... I guess we might just have to go back to reading the books... Daww... reading... do I hafta?

You've brought up some good points. I think it's Mr. B. Well, maybe.
