here's a couple of arties I made a while ago to puzzle out how it *could* look like, Jim as count Olaf in the movie. I have no idea why there was no reply button with the other one...

Whoohoo! I tried to reply before, but as already mentionned, no reply button=problematic. But, anyway, I saw those at another site! Are you Orangey Snicket, though... or did he just post them there?
Anyway... on to praising....
The hair is expertly done on the first one. Some of the shading on the face is really awesome, but there may be just a tad too much white... It's brilliant, though! Looks a little like Ewan McGregor to me... Very realistic, though... I still can't figure out if you did it all yourself or modified a picture...
I also love the hair on the second one, and the eyes are very very well done. The whole of him has a nice stratchy sketchiness that works really well with the character. The background is very ASOUE-tastic, and I love the little details. The little eye above the border is great, and the whiteness of the face provides a nice focal point and really draws the eye.
I would also certainly like to see more from you! ;D

There is ueonline.tripod.com/ueo/home.shtmlIt didn't directly say Orangey did them, just that he provided them... so I wasn't sure. And okay... 1) about the whiteness: I completely take that back. I've looked at your site a bit and it's obviously a stylistic thing... very sorry. I hate it when people criticize art styles because it's something personnal and in the eye of thebeholder and yadda yadda yadda 2)that's so awesome for doing it all yourself! Wow... the eye looks so realistic! That's really great! Anyway, I love the general colourfulness of your art (what I've seen on you're site and all)! Rock on!

I saw them on JCO and on the google image search when I was looking for a Lemony Snicket pic to possibly make my avatar. And another place.(can't remeber were) I think it might have been an ASoUE Movie Website.

W00h00! Very nice! I like the black in the background... very... sinister... I bet he wants to remove my face! And I like the little eye by "Count Olaf". Nice touch. I love how you draw eyes in general. They're so 3-d... I dunno. Greatness!
