I highly suggest you guys read Rainbow Boys and then the sequel, Rainbow High. Whether you are gay or straight, these books are a must! The characters are very real and the writer, Alex Sanchez, keeps you on the edge of your seat! I stayed up until 1:11 a.m. reading Rainbow Boys. I could not put it down! Please, give these books a chance.

Books don't have to be well-known to be good.
I read a preview at amazon.com yesterday, and it looks good. I'll buy them if I see them at the book store. (If not, I'll ask for them for my next birthday.)

Hmm...I saw it at Borders and gave it a quick flip-through. My friend Pre loves those kinds of books (being the pretty-boy connoisseur that she is) and has also recommended to me Coin Locker Babies, which I think also deals with issues of sexuality. Except it's Japanese. So maybe you guys would like to pick that up as well.

I just finished reading it, I liked it lots, it was difficult to put down... In some ways, it was obvious 'advertisement' for gay-straight alliances and to help the awareness of HIV/AIDS and stuff along those lines... But all in all it was great. Me liked (Nelson's the best!)

Gay-straigh alliances 0wn j00! ANYway... I tried looking for them but couldn't find them. Is the author American? If he's not very well known and American, I'm going to have trouble. Yeesh. I had enough trying to get TB8.... but Alli managed to find it, so I guess it must be available in Canada, somewhere. Will do more looking.

Well, I ordered it online, from the bookstore. There's a computer in my Coles, and I just bought it online and had it shipped to the store for picking-up. So I don't know.. *shrugs*
