Who here has ever read a nancy drew mystery novel? I've read over 50 myself and love them. My favourite is the Moss Covered Mansion and Mystery of Lilac Inn.

Sadly, I own the entire old collection and several modern-day ones. And I've read them all.

I was a HUGE Nancy Drew fan when I was a kid! I loved them so much! Mind you... I now realise how crappy and cheap and cliché they are. So I've moved on to Sherlock Holmes and Poirot. Still, Nancy Drew ROCKS! (if only nostagicly)

Well normally to describe cheap mystery books I'd just say that's too Nancy Drew for me but when the book in question is Nancy Drew I'm stumped as to what I say. It's too Baby Sisters Club, Box Car Boys for me? Yes that's it. They just aren't the type of books I read.
My cousin Mike did get me a Nancy Drew computer game for Christmas once. I played it, it was alright, very puzzling, I do like games like that but then I kept trying to get a clue and the guy snuck up and killed me. I couldn't get past that point. And now Mike's moved on to getting me cute purses and cd players so its' all good.

I realise that some of them are a little babyish, but I've always liked them still. I started reading them when I was younger, and ever since then I've loved them, though now that I'm older I do enjoy the Patricia Cornwell books and more adult mysteries, like once I read a great mystery novel called Reservation For Murder, and it was so good. But, in my opinion, nancy drew Rules!!!
