Who loves her? I do. I've read most of her stuff, I love the way she writes. She has tons of details and imagery and her books are just out of the ordinary and sureal.
My favorite story of hers is Snow from the Rose and the Beast. I adore the part at the end, I'd type it out if I had the book with me. I also enjoy, Bones I think it is, or the one about Bluebeard because I apperciate it now that I read the orginial story. I think her version is less creepy than the real one.
The Dangerous Angels cover I have is so pretty, it's of Weetzie Bat with fairy wings, it's so beautiful. That book was ok but I despise Witch Baby for reasons I'm not to sure of since I relate to her the most. Cherokee Bat was so cute but there wasn't enough of her, she didn't get to do anything special.
I just finsihed reading The Hanged Man. It was so.. trippy, I loved it.

I loved Francesca Lia Block when I was in high school, when all she had out were the Weetzie Bat books. They were really hard to find. A few years ago I got the Dangerous Angels compilation and the Hanged Man, but I don't think I've read any of her other stuff. I'm not sure I'd like it as much now that I'm a bit older...I worry it'll remind me of a time and place I'd rather forget.

Hum how old are you Cyberglam? I saw a book of hers called I think, Guarding The Moon. It's about the expeirence of having a child, directed towards adults, if that intrests you. There's also one called Nymph that they wouldn't let me buy because it was supposedly erotic.
I liked Violet and Claire, I don't think I finished Echo I had to get it back to the library.
I got the Rose and the Beast back yesterday and I'm bored right now so I'm typing up my favorite part. It's from Snow (Snow White).
In her sleep she had seen love. It was poisoning. It was possessing. Devouring. Or it was seven pairs of boots climbing up the stairs to find her.

I've never heard of her... does she write fantasy (judging from the titles listed I'm guessing she does) or what.

I'm 24. I haven't really paid attention to her new books since The Hanged Man, I don't think. I'll have to look them up on amazon.

I used to read her books when I was in high school. The most recent book I like of hers is "Violet and Claire", but I haven't read much of her new stuff. There were two books, though, that I wanted to read by her years ago, but they were out of print. They were called "Ectasia" and "Primavera". Well, I was at Borders Books the other day and saw that they were back in print, so I got them. I haven't started them yet, but if you are into her books, check them out, if you haven't already. My sister is 16, so she's getting into Block now, so I gave all my books to her.
