Anyone know anything about his books? I read Timeline a while ago and liked it, but now I don't know what other stuff from him I want to try.
What are his other best books?

ohhh... i love michael crichton.. ive learned more from his books than in a year of schooling probably if not more...
Jurassic Park (you've surely heard of those movies, they were based of these books) Lost World (sequel to above) Sphere (was made into a movie, wasnt that great. The book was amazing though.) Disclosure (not as sci-fi as his other books, more of corporate buisness and deceit, has some graphic sex parts in it tho)
Those are the only ones I've read I think.. and Timeline which was the first one I read of his.
He's also the guy who wrote ER.

I've only read one so far, "Prey." It was really good. I plan to read more (probably Timeline and Andromeda Strain next), but there are several books I've been reading for a while that I want to actually finish before starting any new ones again. I like the fact that he researches for his stories, so any stuff he puts in is accurate, or could be in the future.

I got Timeline for 50 cents at a book sale at the library (also here, I got the LOTR 1-volume edition for the same price, when it's usually $20). I thought this topic would be a good place to share my good find.

I just read Prey a couple of weeks ago. Crichton is the author of more than 15 books, 7 of which I've read. My favorite was Congo. Here are some of his books.
Sphere, Eaters of the Dead (creepy), The Great Train Robbery, Airframe, Timeline, Disclosure (good), Rising Sun (ok but sorta dated), The Lost World, Jurrasic Park (awesome!), The Terminal Man (it's about a homicidal maniac), The Andromeda Strain(good), Prey(reminds me of the Andromeda Strain), A Case of Need, Congo(jungles and gorillas and crushed skulls).

I was going to read Airframe. But a cockroach was killed with it and it was condemned to the black closet in my living room, where no book ever sees the light of day again.

I read Prey, and I plan on reading Jurassic Park after I read TGC and TB8 and SYWTBAW again

I read Congo a few weeks back while I was sick. I hated it. hehe. Probably because I wasn't really interested in the information in it, which really to enjoy his books a lot, you have to care for the facts he puts in it.
