How can you read so many books at once?

How can you read so many books at once? When I read lots of books at once, I get all befuddled because I'll forget which one I am reading and...I'll just get lost. I'll be reading ASOUE and think "What happened to Harry?" Meh.

I always do that. I have books that I'm not really reading, but reading everywhere.
Right now I'm dutifully toting around Sophie's World in an attempt to finally finish it.

Are finding it hard to actually finish? I mean, I love it, I think it's awesome... but I feel like I'm weeding through a really big swamp with things that attatch to my legs and suck be back whenever I look at how far I am in proportion to where I should be.

Yeah I agree! I mean, it is awesome, but sometimes I just want to speed read and it's difficult with a deep-thinking book. Esme, isn't Cut about self-harming? I'll have to check it out...

Esme, isn't Cut about self-harming? I'll have to check it out... Yeah, it is. That's why it's so hard to put down...I mean...I've tried and I can understand where she's coming from kind of. "Callie cuts herself. Never too deep, never enough to die. But enough to feel the pain. Enough to feel the scream inside. Now she's at Sea Pines, a 'residential treatment facility' filled with girls struggling with problems of their own. Callie doesn't want to have anything to do with them. She doesn't want to have anything to do with anyone. She won't even speak. But Callie can only stay silent for so long..."
