Weird name I know, but trust me on this one.
-----------------------------------------------
I felt myself being shaken violently into consciousness. I opened my eyes and peered around the darkened room, but I could see no one, nor could I even see a window. I raised myself onto my elbows and strained my eyes, searching for something recognisable and familiar. As I gazed at one of the walls, it lurched forward. I blinked, which was something I shouldn't have. A pair of strong hands pulled me legs first onto the floor. I hit the floor with a bump.
Shaking, I sat up. I moved only my eyes so any one watching would’ve thought I was looking straight ahead. The walls were suddenly lit up, which such brightness that I had to shade my eyes. Coughing, I staggered to my feet, but only to be forced back down again. I suddenly realised the light was from a fire, and the heat suddenly grew intense. I shielded my face, but burns appeared on my arms so I turned around. I heard a crash from behind, and turn on my heel to watch.
Figures stepped from the depth of the flame. I stared at them, and they stared back with their large electric blue eyes. They were so vivid with a mean manic gleam in their face, with their white skin that looked like they would burn with one touch. They forced me down onto the floor by two strong arms appearing from the floor. I didn't see them at first, so I toppled backwards, making me more vulnerable, especially since I was wearing thin rags. The burning terrace of Hell, which I presumed it was, scorched my skin, which made me wince and cry out. The figures approach, grinning crazily. Terrified, I let out a scream, only to find myself surrounded by tall figures dressed in blue flame.
"If you scream," said one of them, "We shall put you to sleep forever!"
"No! No! No!" I shrieked, but the airless tomb of hell became to smother me, and I screamed again.
"We did warn you.,” said the figures. "We warned you." I watched as one of the figures produced a large needle.
"Turn over," they said. "Turn over, turn over, turn over."
I backed up against one of the walls. Two arms burst through the cold surface and gripped me from behind. Helpless, I watched as the long steel tip of the needle travelled towards me. I struggled to break free, but a multitude of hands forced me back.
"No! Please! Let me be!" I cried.
As the needle entered me I awoke with a start. I was in my bed, which was just a small bed in an attic. My pyjamas and sheets were sticking to my skin, which was wet with perspiration and urine. The blacks were up and a small nightlight was flickering on the windowsill. I heard footsteps, which sounded very much like the clattering of the figure's feet. With a wave of nausea I vomited and fainted onto the floor.
----------------------------------------------------
I gotta stop my writing habit...which only Pucca and Skalu know about. Mah. What'd you think? And, yes, it is short. My slogan is quality, not quantity. Oooh...the waking up and vomiting bit is MY specialty! I just love it...*sniff*
