I think the best place to find out what the meaning of "life" is is the dictionary or the encyclopedia. Sorry if that's not deep enough for this forum. I just think that that's all there is to it. *shrug* And I'm also pretty sure you'd find out a lot of things you never knew about in the encyclopedia, or maybe even in the dictionary, if you look up "life" or something like that. I might do that...once I feel like it.

No. The purpose of life is reproduction and self-satisfaction. You can't convince me otherwise.

Religion inspires someone, but it's not neccessary for a successful life.

Success if having what you want. Happiness is wanting what you have.

The human life is nothing! We are just here to destroy and infest everything! I mean, it is not like the world could not live without human life! the world would be better if human life was not even here! the earth would be clean and everything would eat eachother. it would be like a normal day without humans except, it would be cleaner, quieter and not to mention less of a population! I know people are going to be like,"i hate you! you should have never even said that life would be better if we were not here!" well, it is true. i am not one of those people who thinks we should all be terminated, but i am saying that life would be better without us! i am not telling you to go and kill yourself but i am trying to make a point. THE EARTH WOULD SURVIVE WITHOUT HUMAN LIFE FORMS! i am sorry if i upset anybody, but it is true!

You do have a point: the earth survived just fine without us for millions of years. And humans have only been on this earth for what? 10,000 years? thats only an eye-blink to the earth. just think how far advanced and powerful the human race will be in another 10,000 years, if we do make it that far.
I still don't get why you bother to think things like that... We are here. We're going to stay here. If the humanity were to suddenly be wiped from the face of this planet- some new species would probably arise, that could be more pollution and infecting than us.

I sort of agree. I think. We probably won't make it much longer than a few more thousand years as a race, but I'm sure something else will take our place eventually and do exactly what we've been doing now. It's the course of nature.

Do you realize?? That everyone you know someday will die? And instead of saying all of your good-byes Let them know you realize that life goes fast It's hard to make the good things last You realize the sun doesn't go down It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

I would love to see the end of the world... Too bad I'll miss it.

Too bad there's no local restaurant at the end of the universe here.. So how do you know you're going to miss it? It could be tommorow, for all we know.

People shouldn't get so hyped up about "the end of the world". Say for a second that you knew that the world was going to end in twenty-four hours... would you be happier with this knowledge, or would it just make you infinitely more miserable?
My history teacher last year (one-of-a-kind, you'll never find anyone else like this ever) taught us the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL that the brain is programmed for two things: reproduction and violence. He enforced this throughout the entire year, applying it to everything.
He also said that boys were better than girls. My parents went and had a little talk with him.
That was embarrassing.
