I broke the tie. Go Kerry. ^^ It's just the whole... war mess. Wouldn't you feel safer with Kerry in charge?

Accusing? How? And what debate are you talking about? I'm not trying to get out of anything, so bring it.

When I say "You can't be a christian and be democrat" is because democrats are for alot of stuff that Me (as a christian) and the bible, are against... Seuss, I may have said this before, but I think you mix politics and religion too much. Like in one of the other BushOrKerry threads, you said something like "go ahead and vote for Kerry, but when I die I know where I'm going, what about you?" In my opinion, church and state don't go together. Other than that, there's nothing I can say to this that J and the others haven't said before.

I wasn't "accusing" I was telling the truth, say "you're an asshole" is name calling.
Anyway, I stand by Bush for the same reason you stand by Kerry. You agree more with that person.
You're right, I do bring religion into politics alot, and I see nothing wrong with that.

You democrats love the name calling don't you? Capt: *blink* Yeah, the democrats. Sure.

But I don't fall back on sterotypes to defend me. Or try to make sterotypes. Like "you democrats and your name calling".
Did he Siriusly say that? Do you think we won't go to heaven if we don't believe in Bush? Good thing I don't believe in heaven and hell.

Veronica, W.H.A.T are you talking about? I form my political views from my religion. I don't think if you vote against Bush, you'll end up in hell.

I form my political views from my religion. I think that's a bad thing, because that excludes people in this country...the bible is a 2000 years old book, not our Constitution.

Did he Siriusly say that? Do you think we won't go to heaven if we don't believe in Bush? Good thing I don't believe in heaven and hell. Admittedly, he sort of implied it. Or I inferred that he implied it. Here's the quote: but anyway for some reason I dont care anymore vote for kerry/bush either way when I die I know where I'm going...........but do you? (Interestingly, at the time he said that, the thread in question had turned into one about abortion--partially at least.) I think that's a bad thing, because that excludes people in this country...the bible is a 2000 years old book, not our Constitution. As I say way too much, aye! We have freedom of religion, therefore freedom from a theocratic government. Although the bill of rights doesn't state explicitly that church and state should be separate, it's implied by the first amendment. Edit(second one, actually): Will this be moved to DD? I think it should be, despite the wealth of threads just like it in there.

lol, Aternora don't bring old quotes up, that day I was light headed lol. But I see nothing wrong with my views being formed from my religion. You (i'm guessing) believe in evolution or some other thing, or maybe you don't belive in anything, but you still base your political views on your beliefs. Am I right?

Form your beliefs on religion., go ahead. I just don't feel it's right for the PRESIDENT to make laws based on a questionable book written 2000 yuears ago that may or may not be true.

Ha, I made it a tie again. Bush for sure. Bush knows a heck of a lot more about war than Kerry, and Kerry just seems like a dumb ol' P who should be shot.
