I think he should have said something else in parentheses next to that choice. But, most people thinkt hat Atheism is a religion, which, I don't believe it is, while it is mostly labeled as one; it's having the faith that nothing is out there, apart that which they can (try to?) explain with science

I picked Judaism because, out of the religions there, it's the one I most admire.
Orthodox Jews have a devotion to their culture unlike any religion I've seen. I think that's SUPER with an S.

christianity. I'm actually, by baptism Anglican, but by choice i'm agnostic. i sort of, and sort of don't believe in it. Christianity makes more sense to me because 1) to be honest, I don't know that much about other religions, and 2) because christianity abides by the morals and lessons of life which i think are the most vital to the community.

Whoever made the poll forgot Paganism, which is amoung the popular religions Or maybe they meant to include that in "Satanism" *whistles innocently*

Darn you, subconscious! I could have sworn that I checked the "Buddhism" circle, I even checked it, but when I clicked on "Vote!", then my eye caught it and what do you know? Atheism. It's like in every poll I'm drawn to that. If the question had been "Which religion/culture do you hate?" then I'd probably have ended up checking Atheism. Ugh. Well, pretend that I voted Buddhism.
And I voted Buddhism because it seems rather noble and selfless, what with the whole elimination-of-want thing. It's the sort of thing that I'd subscribe to if I wasn't so horribly lazy.

I'm going to resist the urge to call you an idiot. CHRISTIANITY incorporates all religions which involve Christ as the son of god. ALL Catholics and ALL Protestants are christians.

Anglicanism and Catholicism are widely the same in that they believe in Jesus's divinity etc. As far as I can tell, the differences are restricted solely to the surface appearance.
But I'm going to take it as read that the pollmaker is considering the philosophy of the religion more than its rituals. And I can't choose between the religions.
I know I wouldn't choose Satanism currently, but I haven't heard enough about it to know I'd never choose it. I'm open to convincing.
I also can't choose Buddhism, because I would choose my religion because I want it to be a want it to be a way to help everyone, and ultimately Buddhism is a selfish religion. It is almost entirely the pursuit of a personal nirvana.
I suppose the religion I know most about, traditional Christianity can be crossed off the list as I also know the most faults in it. The reasons for my disbelief in the Bible's teachings are many and I'd be happy to discuss if you ask. My biggest qualms, though, are over the church's interpretation of the Bible. It's far too ambiguous a document for me to base my entire life around.
Islam, Hinduism and Judaism I know next to nothing about, though I find Islamic and Jewish devotion to the church highly admirable. I suppose of all the choices, I would wittle it down to those two on current knowledge[/b].

Just because they say their catholic or christian, doesn't mean their a "real" christian. You're being an idiot. The reason those are up there is assuming that you are "real", and you aren't supposed to be voting for your own denomination anyway. What makes a real christian, hmm? Have to be a eunuch, knowing you...
