The Rules:
-Respect other people's views and beliefs, even if you disagree with them. Even peopleyou think are idiots have a right to their opinions.
-No flaming or name-calling. Threads that turn into flame wars will be locked.
-If you copy and paste something from a site, give a link. If you post something from a non-online source, tell us where you got it.
-No swearing. Period. . There. Another one. . . .
[Use of profanity in quotes or to discuss its use is acceptable, but do not use this guideline as an excuse to spew profanity.]
-Before you make a thread, look on the first few pages for ones similar to it. It's better to reply to an old thread than to make a new one with the same topic.
-Make sure you understand the purpose of Disturbing Discussion before you make a thread here. Do not make threads in here about movies, TV shows, music, books, etc, unless there's some controversy surrounding the movie/show/etc in question, or to discuss a controversial issue about the media in general(such as censorship, media bias, etc). Threads discussing books go in LLit, and threads discussing TV/movies/music go in WWorld.
-Flamebait is expressly forbidden. Any post containing ONLY material that is simply an attack without reasoning or understanding of the topic will be deleted. This WILL be enforced fairly.
- In Disturbing Discussions, off-topicness is not allowed. Intentional off-topicness especially will award warnings and/or strikes. Offtopic banter and random chat are discouraged in this section, and the moderator reserves the right to delete them. If you feel a need to chat with someone offtopic, you should PM them so the thread doesn't get cluttered.
- Sexual content (rape, frolicking in the fields, ... sex) should be kept to a minimum. Remember that above all, this is a forum aimed at the children/teen age group. Therefore, if you make a topic or post containing questionable suggestive/sexual material, particularly with no redeeming content or relevance to the topic, do not be surprised if it disappears. A moderator has every right to use his or her judgment.
-Basic rules for sexual content:
-Please be honest about your views and opinions, and do not "troll" by pretending to hold views that you do not. Excessive, possibly confusing sarcasm is forbidden.
-Recall the Administrative Decrees.
