Would gov't censorship benefit society?
Should hate speech be banned?
Should flag desecration be banned?
Should the rights of anti-abortionists be protected (specifically, an anti-abortion website listed the names, adresses, and very personal info about abortion doctors, which led to killings of the doctors--in which case, the websmaster would proudly cross out the names of the doctors on the website)
Should porn be censored?
Should the federak gov't be allowed to regulate porn?
Should internet porn have its own domain?
Should libraries restrict access to offensive books?
Should libraries use software filters for the internet?
Should the entertainment industry be censored?
Should gov't fund controversial art--should it fund art at all?

1. Anything the gov't does must benefit society, that's the gov't's job. 2. It depends on the hate speech and how it's defined. If it attacks in an explicit or infered way a person by name it should be banned, but -in my opinion- if its a 'definition of a person' it should not. 3. I don't know, I don't care if someone destroys or burns a mexican flag, so I guess it shouldn't be banned 4. What do you mean by 'the rights of anti-abortionist'? Anyways anti-abortionists and any other person should be treated the same way. 5. Porn should not be censored but controlled. 6. Maybe 7. Such books should be rated and determine if are suitable for 'minors' 8. Yes, they should. 9. No, the netertainment industry should be controlled. 10. If the gov't doesn't think its appropiate to fund controversial art it shouldn't. Now if you consider that the money belongs to the citizens, then the gov't should make a poll and determine if the 'public' wants or not the artwork. I'm pretty sure that controversial artist can get sponsors very easily.

Would gov't censorship benefit society? No, then they'd be able to just spoonfeed us one view.
Should hate speech be banned? Depends on the situation. In normal times, no. In war times when everything is iffy, perhaps.
Should flag desecration be banned? Yes.
Should the rights of anti-abortionists be protected (specifically, an anti-abortion website listed the names, adresses, and very personal info about abortion doctors, which led to killings of the doctors--in which case, the websmaster would proudly cross out the names of the doctors on the website)? Their rights should be protected, if they're not putting in danger other people's rights (in this case, other's lives are put in danger, so they should not be allowed to post that).
Should porn be censored? Well, no, but they should be careful about who has access to it.
Should the federak gov't be allowed to regulate porn? I'm not sure.
Should internet porn have its own domain? Yes, if it means I'd have less of a chance of randomly stumbling over it when looking for something coompletely unrelated (examples: There's an anime search site that, when typed wrong, takes one to a porn site. Once I was trying to find my libraries web site, and ended up at a French porn site.).
Should libraries restrict access to offensive books? Depends what you mean by offensive. Controversial? No. Mature/pornographic? Yes, they shouldn't allow minors to have access to them.
Should libraries use software filters for the internet? Yes, because computers are where everyone can see them, and I'm sure parents wouldn't appreciate their kids seeing porn because some other person is looking at it.
Should the entertainment industry be censored? No, that's what ratings are for.
Should gov't fund controversial art--should it fund art at all? I don't know. Whichever it does, I suppose it should treat all art equally.

I think porn should be censored because even if the models do volenteer for most shots, what about the vast majority of illegal sites with illegal or underage models?
I think that yes, library computers should be filtered.
Hate speech banned: no, everyone has a right to their own oppinions and free speech. The offensive books: no, because everyone has different tastes, and besides, if you're mature enough you should be able to take them seriously enough.
art: yes, the gov't should fund all art. Art is a very important and respected cultural aspect of society.
