I love Legolas. But not just for the Orlando Bloom hotness reasons. Legolas is just such a likable character and I love the way he and Gimli become friends. Legolas is also a true friend because he always wants to help Aragorn. And I sound like I'm writing some inspirational speech...*laughs*

Legolas is also a prince. I wish I could skip sleep like him, he just walks through forests at night and that counts as sleep.

Scott, you need to make your signature smaller, so get rid of one or two of those pictures please.

I don't particularly like Legolas. He's too much of an archetype. I mean, the other elves have distinguishing characteristics; Legolas is pretty much just the typical heroic, caring, blah woodland elf.

Well he does make friends with a dwarf and that's not at all typical of all elves.

I'm reading the Fall of Gondolin right now and Glorfindel's part of this golden company of elves that defended the city during its fall. He helped Tuor and his people escape, and then when a balrog attacked the people who were fleeing, he sacrificed himself to stop the balrog. Then later, Second Age maybe, he sailed back to Middle earth to help fight Sauron.

Do you think that there will ever be movies about those kinds of times? Like the fall of Gondolin and....Morgoth stuff?
