In my opinion, amongst the universe of merchandise inspired by the movie, this is perhaps the best piece. I really love the game, and it's 42 times better than normal monopoly.
So, er, *discussion*

42x? I think I've seen it at stores... If I see it tomorrow I'll investigate.

Hm, I've always wanted this game. I ended up with LOTR Trivial Persuit, instead. It brings my total number of Trivial Persuit editions up to four.

Is LOTR Trivial Pursuit good? I like(read: am obsessed with) the original Trivial Pursuit but I've never played one of the 'themed' versions.

Trivial Pursuit is awesome but I have a feeling me and everyone I play it with would fail miserably at an LOTR verison. I'm not sure which version I play but its not the original, I use a dvd. I'm master of the blue and pink squares.
I have Star Wars monopoly, St Luis Monopoly and the regular verison. Oh and the kids verison, but we don't play that one anymore. Actually we don't play any of them anymore so while LOTR monopoly is a good idea theres no use for me to have one. I've surpassed the age of family game night.

I never had a family game night. And I have Star Wars monopoly! It's really old and the box is falling apart... I'd love LOTR trivial pursuit. And I'd probably be really good at it.

What's St Luis Monopoly?
I've never had a family game night either.

Good question... How many LOTR themed board games are there?

St. Luis Monopoly is about St. Luis, Missouri.
I have no idea how many LOTR games there are, that would be interesting to find out.
I never really had a family game night but my family randomly used to play board games. I have a family game night now but its not with biological family.

I secretly lust after LOTR Monopoly and Risk, but feel that they would push me over the edge into utter, irreparable nerddom.
Had I a daemon, it would now tell me I was there already.

Do you need a daemon? We should have another daemon day I missed the first one. anyway... I'm probably not getting it because I'd need to have some monopoly that's not themed. Though I could do with a new monopoly as my sw one is missing a card and its box is collapsing.
