Hi, all tennis fans. The mens' finals are tomorrow... Federer and Nadal for the third straight year! Who do you think will win?
And the womens' finals today... the Williams sisters! And it was kind of wierd because later that day they teamed up again and played in the doubles finals. It wouold be wierd enough just to play against your sister in grand slam, not to mention then teaming back up with her in the next few hours.

This is the Year of Spain in sports - wait and see. Spain wins Euro 2008 in football, Sergio Garcia did well in the European Open (golf), Alejandro Valverde is almost a sure thing for a Tour de France podium finish, and Spain has a top triathlete in the Olympics, Javier Gomez (ranked #1 in the world for 2007). I'm pulling for Nadal.

Federer. All the way.
This was the most intense match ever. We didn't even realize that hours had passed while we sat there watching. I can't believe Federer got back up after a two set loss, was...amazing. We were all screaming at home and going crazy during the match. Too bad it didn't end as well as I wished it would have ) : Federer totally deserved to win that match.

Oh, so that's why the lady asked me if I saw the tennis and I just nodded.

I was rooting for Federer. During the first two sets, I began to think that maybe his time was up, and Nadal was going to replace him as number one, also because of the French Open. But then he came back. Hed better be grateful for that rain break, or I bet he would have lost miserably. Well, this was by far the most intense match. I kept running out of the room.
