Ok. Here are the rules. A poster (Poster A) from another country must identify what country he/she is from (or if that poster is from the US, he/she chooses a country) and then ask a question about that country. Then, the next poster (Poster B) who has correctly answered Poster A's question will repeat the process Poster A has undergone. If a poster is from another country & has already asked a question but has answered correctly in another poster's question, he/she must select another country other than his/her own. Example:
Research from books & the internet is allowed.
[glow=red,2,300]WARNING[/glow] When a question is left unanswered in a period of 2 days, any poster can ask another question.
P.S. The question can be about a person, a place or a thing or about the country's history or geography or its major cities or its culture.

This person, which is the Philippines's national hero, has lots of statues placed in random places around the world, is a polyglot & has one of his books internationally immortalized by Penguin Classics. Who is this person?

United Kingdom
An Irishman better known for his sitcom which ran three seasons on BBC. His character on the show is much like his persona during his standup comedy shows: he is constantly drinking cheap wine and smoking cigarettes. This man is...? (Plus, extra points for naming the show!)

Is it the lion? They're not exactly endangered, just classified as "vulnerable."
Oh, and the answer to mine is Dylan Moran.

Hey, didn't you read the rules??? My question is not yet overdue. It's still my turn. Plus the answer is not a lion. Here's a clue: its species are usually found in mountains.

It seems that 2 days have passed & no one answered my question (the answer to my question is the Balkan lynx, anyway). So, it's your turn to ask the question, MasterKlaus.

Here. I ask a question & when you answered it correctly, it's your turn to ask a question but if your question is 2 days overdue, someone can answer a question freely.
