Colin is a lot better than he seems at first sight; I blame the coat. I've listened to a few of the big finish audios with him, and not having an annoying coat or annoying companion (he has an older woman named Evelyn) do wonders. Yeah I like him and feel bad for how he seems to have gotten screwed over. He could have been a great Doctor if he had more time/less crap stories. I have finished watching all classics and I really really loved Seven (and Ace) but pretty much hated the TV movie. But I've heard great things about Six and Eight Big Finish Audios and I really want to get into them but don't really know how to find them. And I don't want to look it up because I'm broke. Also there are a ton and I wouldn't be sure where to start. I'm on episode 9 of series 2 of Torchwood and I really enjoy it (Torchwood that is, I haven't started watching episode 9 yet). Ianto is hot and Jack is hot and Ianto and Jack are hot. I also love Gwen. And Tosh. Owen... well, he's ok. Anyway, so byebye Ten hello Eleven! And Gironamo apparently. For some reason I thought the second half was boring but it got me geared up for Matt Smith! He looks like he's going to be fun! Thoughts on who the Time Lady was?

That two-part special was...well, I'm really at a loss to describe it. I spent most of the first part just staring at the screen in disbelief, and that continued with the second part. Bits of it were so amazing I couldn't believe it, and other bits were so ridiculous I also couldn't believe it. I liked spitting Time Lord President guy though; he seemed just like how I would have imagined the president that started the Time War. As for the lady...maybe it's Romana? That's who I immediately thought of.
Yay Matt Smith! I liked at the end how he felt his hair and thought he was a girl, and then reassured himself by feeling his Adam's apple and looking down his shirt.
Is Torchwood any good? I watched some of the Sarah Jane Adventures and liked those but wasn't sure if I should try Torchwood or not.

I love Torchwood and i really think that if you enjoy Doctor Who then you should give it a go. It is a lot darker than Dr Who and also a lot more grown up but the characters are fantastic and i love the story lines! Definitely a must watch (:

So, who watched it? I am in love! I love Matt Smith already and I can't wait for more!!!
I loved that hologram with all the Doctors' faces on it, and then Matt walks through. Love! I also thought the fish custard thing was pretty funny. And Amy is so cute!

I freakin loved it! Did you watch the Beast Below? Do they air them in Australia right away? BBCA will start airing them on the 17th I believe, but I don't have BBCA anyway. So youtube is my friend. I just finished watching the Beast Below and I really loved it!!! This season so far is amazing. I love Stephen Moffat, and I really love Eleven, and Amy!

I was on holiday when The Eleventh Hour aired, but I recorded it and watched it when I got back, which meant two DW episodes in two days; great fun. I thought TEH was great - probably one of my favourite series openers, and it's fun to see Moffat playing on childhood fears again. The Beast Below, though... I think it could maybe have done with being a two-parter. It hops about a lot, and I think it really needed more time spent on the villains and so on. The Smilers were pretty underused, which is also one of my problems with the clockwork robots from The Girl in the Fireplace.

I agree Dante, I thought the Smilers were a little pointless, you thought they were going to be the things the Doctor would have to defeat but it ended up being a slightly cheesy 'star whale' which just needed a cuddle, nothing to defeat. I love the new doctor though, he had a hard act to follow, almost the whole of Britain loved Tennant.

I watched Victory of the Daleks yesterday. The premise is pretty inspired, and there were a couple of plot twists that I didn't see coming; it's quite clever. The new design is a bit of a shock to the system, though; good, but very different. (Edit: I mean different to what we have now; it's actually quite retro.)

Matt Smith has a weird shaped face and its annoying. Also his bow tie is stupid. Other than that, the episode was good.
