OOC - I was just looking through all these old games and found this one that Skeleton Key, bless her, started. It seemed like everyone was disappointed when no one would join or the game wouldn't start. So, does anyone want to start this up again?
Welcome to the Schadenfraude Asylum. I am Herr Dr. Ernst Schadenfraude, your host, the son of the late Dr. Shadenfraude. Miss Songbird sent for me. It seems things are becoming dull around here.
The asylum's history is a great one. We once housed idiots and madmen that kept the company of sadistic Russian princesses. From the minds of our doctors, new surgeries and therapies were born. We also make very good fish pasta! And I assure you your tea won't be poisoned...much.
Now we are opening our doors to 14 lucky people. (The sight of thirteen people entering the hospital would throw some of our more superstitious patients into a frenzy.) You will dine and sleep here for thirteen nights, and at the end of those thirteen nights, one person will receive 500 dark dollars. Because I'm nice like that.
However, I would advise you to sleep alone, no matter how lonely you feel. The environment may cause your roommates to act strangely. Even if something should happen to you, you will on in my medical records, and the room you once inhabited will be sealed until the end of the stay and named after you.
Have you ever played Musical Chairs? Well, this is like that, only if you sit in someone else's lap, you die. Kind of like how polite society works! Every round, the players will pick a room. The last player to post will have to choose which room the want...to die in. See, everyone is on edge. If you enter an already-inhabited room, said inhabitant will kill you. So, do you really want to win? You'll have killed at least one person.
Of COURSE you want to win!
