Anyone seen it? I know this is a little late, as it came out in like, 2000 or something, but I've been re-watching it lately, and was wondering if anyone else had seen it. It was originally a French movie, but there's a subtitled version that became pretty popular here.

@__@ Seriously, this movie looked cool when I saw the previews, so I waited to get in on DVD(since we never go to the movies ) The beginning was putrid! I instantly took the disc out and threw it away. That was the first time I ever threw a movie away and never even watched 5 minutes of it. @__@ And I(well, Papa ) paid for it... *sigh*

Putrid, eh? Because of all the conception jokes and nakedness? It IS french, and, yeah, that's quite abundant at the beginning, but I can't believe you threw it out without even watching it! It's a great movie if you can get past that. And Chocolate Marquee, do you mean she looks disturbed when she's smiling mischeviously? I thik she has the BEST SMILE IN THE WORLD! But yeah, it's really different and I can see why some people wouldn't like it. It's foreign for one, which always means some stuff we don't get. It also has a really different story format from most movies I've seen. But really, guys, it's one of my favourite movies because of that. I still can't believe you threw it out.

I'll edit my post and just say, I think there should have been a big warning label stuck to the front of the DVD that mentions things that people may be offened by or something. I feel I was tricked into seeing something I never would have wanted to see...

It is rated R, I think.
I watched it last year and it was really pretty good. Sometimes when I'm bored at a movie I'll turn around and watch people's faces. It's the best when everyone is wearing a big silly grin like in the movie and I can just see the people in theatre's looking around at eachother's faces. This was another one of those "small things change the world and fate brings the two together" movies, but somehow is seemed like it's the sort of thing that could happen in real life from the way they showed it.

[glow=red,2,300]oh that was such a good movie...last year my french teacher thought we could all watch it so she rented it and we watched it for two days...then somebody's parent complained so i had to rent it and watch it on my own. it was a really good movie despite the fact that there is nudity and a lot of strange sexual references in it. i like the part where she kidnaps her fathers lawn gnome and gives it to her friend who is a flight attendent. and i like that painter guy he's cool. I've seen about five seconds of this movie when it was playing for display at my school. And I've seen Chris Katan making fun of her on SNL. Maybe I'll check it out.
