- - - - - Dear Reader, If you are looking for a pleasant story to read, it would be best if you ran away because this story is probably the darkest and worst story ever told. It tells the events that befell the four Baudelaire orphans - Violet, Klaus, Sunny and Beatrice - during their stay at Montague Manor, near the town of Tedia. I am sure you have no stomach for a story that involves such things as a dark mansion covered in ivy, a suspicious butler, two familiar maids, a map with a question mark, a hostage, an unpleasant family of four, a dark and humid basement, and a taxi driver. It would certainly be best, dear reader, to find something less mysterious to read - because the mystery contained in this story is so dreadful, and to not read this story at all. With all due respect Tiago Squalor - - - - -

I'm looking forward to reading this- it's The Fearsome Factory's sequal, I believe?

This is an excellent intro to the next installment of one of 667's most anticipated series! I'm quite confident that I've guessed the identity of the "two familiar maids", but we'll see when the time comes. I'm very, very excited to read The Mysterious Manor and look forward to the first post.

My goodness! This is just like waiting for the next season of Desperate Housewives and Big Love. XD I'd better go make some parsley soda and salmon puffs so we can have them in time for this exciting event.

(the name was scribbled over in the note),
I'm sleeping in tomorrow. Please purchase tea and sugar for my new guests who will arrive soon. And also, secure the basement, as it is of utmost importance. I have lots of good, fun scares planned out for them, it will be a very fun week, don't you think?
Has any letter from T or E arrived? I'm beginning to worry.
Your Boss, M. Montague

I'll say! And I like the sound of "good, fun scares". I find the very idea to be hauntingly amusing - or is it amusingly haunting?I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Really interesting. I'm very excited to read the first chapter. (Will you be posting one at a time, or several like in The Fearsome Factory?)

Really interesting. I'm very excited to read the first chapter. (Will you be posting one at a time, or several like in The Fearsome Factory?) By Emma's suggestion, this time I'll post the first three chapters one per day, and from then on it depends on how much I write each day - because I have a very busy schedule - but TMM will most likely be updated in a Friday-Saturday-Sunday schedule. ^^
