This story feels like it's gone by so fast; I can hardly believe it's already over. I really enjoyed Bruce's character development, and I hope he'll be back one day; this is an intriguing end to the story, too - and that's one heck of a banner. I very much look forward to the next instalment, and I'd like to thank you for this book, too.
Edit: I am the master of pagetoppers. Chapter Thirteen is on the previous page.

Thank you Dante! That means a lot to me. I'm glad you enjoyed The Mysterious Manor to that extent.

Wow! That's really exciting. I'm fascinated by the character of Lars Gabriel - I wonder who he will turn out to be. (Oh, could it be....? No, I won't speculate.)
It's interesting that each adventure so far has taken the Baudelaires back to the scene of one of their previous adventures - first Paltryville, then Tedia, and now Anwhistle Aquatics. I wonder if this will continue.
I'm also wondering about the grim guardian - unlike Emma, I didn't initially think of this as a person. Well, we will see.

Just the right amount of suspence with just the right amount of conclusions- that was a remarkable chapter. I liked the return of old characters, along with the new ones, and the Snicket-style you've used throughout felt almost genuine; you have an excellent story going on here, and I'm very eager to see it continue!

OMGTHESUSPENSSSSE!!!!!! Lovelovelove the chapter, Tiago! I'm so glad that Cindry was reunited with at least one of the Baudelaires - if only briefly - and that Ferdinand and Victoria are safe, or so the Punctilio claims. Your idea for the snakes being released from their cage if someone were to open the door holding Cindry prisoner was very clever, as was Esme hiding the key in the mouth of her polar bear coat. Man, this is just like a video game! ;D And now Violet is trapped, too! What will happen next, I wonder? *gnaws nails nervously* Scott Pilgrim/ A Series of Unfortunate Events crossover, much?

FYI I never read Scott Pillgrim and I never saw the movie. What is your suggestion? That I copied it? I NEVER read/seen Scott Pilgrim.
