The Joke Game!

I was thinking about making a thread where people could post their jokes then I thought: Why not turn this into a game? So the first person posts a joke, the next rates it and posts another one, and so goes on.
I can't think of a funny joke right now so I'll start with this lame one:

Two men were talking when one of them noticed the other's watch:
"That's a beautiful watch, man! Where did you buy it?"
"I didn't buy it. I won it on a race!"
"Were there many competitors?"
"Not really, just me, the owner of the watch and two cops".

Now the next person rates this joke and posts it's own joke.

That's a good one. Shall we rate on a 1-10 scale then? I'd give that a solid 8.

"Knock knock!"
"Who's there?"
"KGB!"
"KGB who?"
"-slap- We will ask the questions here!"

Oh I forgot to say the scale! Well you picked the one I wanted so that's all right.
Nice joke. I'll give it a... 7. I don't really like knock-knock jokes, but that was a good one.

A man was reading when he was interrupted by his friend:
"Hey Albert, what are you doing?"
"I'm reading a novel."
"But that's not a novel, that's the phone book!"
"Really? Well, I did notice there were lots of characters.".

This is a very clever idea. I don't know why anyone hadn't thought of it before.

Fred got home from his Sunday round of golf later than normal and very tired. "Bad day at the course?" his wife asked.

"Everything was going fine," he said. "Then Harry had a heart attack and died on the 10th tee."

"Oh, that's awful!"

"You're not kidding. For the whole back nine it was hit the ball, drag Harry, hit the ball, drag Harry."
