I've never read this before, so this will be interesting! Is this the same Holly Black from The Spiderwick Chronicles?

Similar atmospheres, but quite different stories, and, obviously, by different authors.
This is neat! I'm looking forward to it.

Sounds delightful, even if I don't recognise many of those names.

I had read your question "Is this by same Holly Black from The Spiderwick Chronicles?", and thought you were confusing Black with Gaiman (a mistake I myself have made before).

I recognise Melissa Marr, Holly Black, Neil Gaiman, R.L Stein and of course, Lemony Snicket. Looking forward to this.

I recognize the same authors as Bee. I watched the movie adaptation which was indeed pretty good, but haven't read it. And how can I still say no to so many cool authors? On a side note, I think Neil Gaiman is friends with just about everybody in the writing business.

I recognize Bee's list plus Cassandra Clare and Neal Shusterman. Checking the merits of a few of the others, though, they all appear to be reputable and engaging storytellers.

Coraline is one of my favorite "children's" books, so this is awesome.
And the book is way better than the movie, so if you haven't read it - do. It's a deadpan absurdity style.

This is interesting, I've never heard about that book. But I can't see a list of authors or something like that. (?)

This is interesting, I've never heard about that book. But I can't see a list of authors or something like that. (?) I didn't notice it at first either. On the right, if you look at the images for the videos coming soon, you will see the author's name in the picture. The one available and selected says "Chapter one: by Neil Gaiman." To the right of it is chapter two- which is being read by Lemony Snicket.

Interesting fact: Coraline is the only book not by Lemony Snicket to have a song by the Gothic Archies on its audiobook edition.
