-*le sigh* -It looks as though the 667er's doomed. -Unless I get some applications by tonight, I'll have to start PMing people myself. -*shudder* -How degrading. -It's been so hot and dry lately. -Which is quite a change, as it rained very heavily over the weekend. -There goes the ol' tropical/equatorial climate.

-There are a few political cartoons in my Politics textbook. -Which I forgot to mention. -I got it today. -I think it's slightly bigger than my Economics textbook, which is itself very big. -I'm really glad I don't have both Economics and Politics on any one day. -In contrast, my Maths textbook (well, it's really more of a question book, but it tells you how to do everything too) is really thin. -I wouldn't mind re-reading Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. -I never owned my own copy - I got it from the really tacky library nearby. -Oh, and remember the activity day that I went on on Monday? -Well, the other half of the year went on Tuesday. -Apparently, things didn't go nearly as smoothly. -Tee hee! -On the way there, one of the coaches rear-ended a bus. -Somebody called A. fell into the water, hit the back of their head on a barrel, and nearly drowned and possibly slipped out of their lifejacket or something (I overheard a conversation). -He had to go to hospital with concussion. -And the coach left two people behind.

-The Spanish test I had was fairly easy. -The hardest part, though, was the listening activities. -I'm never really good at those, and in this one we had to match a phrase with a picture. -It was hard because the pictures were so badly printed on the test sheet. -In my other classes, we didn't do anything all that interesting. -My Government textbook is pretty boring. -But my history textbook from last year had a lot of pretty cool political cartoons from various times in history. -I once had to draw my own political cartoon associated with the Civil War, I think. -We did a lot of that sort of thing in Ms L's class, actually. -We usually did these projects in groups, with large paper and lots of markers. -None of my teachers this year are as interesting as Ms L, although Mr B is pretty weird-in-a-good-way.

-There were a few cartoons in my History textbook last year. -Mostly comment, though, rather than humour. -Although some of them were both. -I was alright at listening tasks in French, when the tapes were of good quality. -Well, decent quality. -Not poor quality. -The stuff I was really good was... was... -What was it? -I know there was something... -Oh well; it's not as if it matters. -I've been reading The Fifth Elephant. -It's pretty good. -Although I'm nearing the end, and I don't think there's enough elephant in it to justify the title. -I feel ill. -Mother cooked up an experiment for dinner, and I didn't particularly like it. -It had mushrooms and some sort of potato gunk and I'm not even going to talk about it any more as it honestly does make me feel sick just to think about it. -Father gave me a cheese scone, with added cheese filling, to fill me up, as I hadn't finished dinner. -And a muffin. -I think the cheese scone alone was too much. -Even then, I was feeling ill. -I could barely eat the muffin. -In hindsight, I shouldn't have, but it was just there, and it felt incomplete. -Anyway, now I feel pretty ill. -No amount of water has been enough. -On the other hand, though, I don't feel particularly tired.

-I was the only one in my History class who could spell "hieroglyphics". -Not even the very clever people could, so I felt quite proud afterwards. -I'm listening to Magnetic Fields' "I Don't Really Love You Anymore". -Aimee and I were singing it all day today. -It annoyed Tasha 'cause she's not heard of them. -Neither have most people here, though. -Ann (VioletB) sent me the "i" album (and American UA) some time ago, and then I lent it to Aimee, so that's how we know about them. -*nod nod* -Now it's "I Looked All Over Town". -Aww, this song is about a clown. -I used to be scared of clowns when little but had a clown teddy bear I loved all the same. -Hehe.

-PJ, your hair looks crazy in that pic! -It's INCREDIBLY hot in my house -I without a doubt failed my Algebra test -I'm pretty confident about my English though -I ended up not taking my history/geography test -I'm pretty hungry -I'm leaving in 20 or so minutes to go get something to eat, then to choir, then to youth group, then to applebees -I read more of Anna Karenina today -I got finished with my work early in school so I read a chapter or two, then studied over my history/geography

-"I" is a great CD. -It was the first one by the MF's that I ever bought. -I haven't listened to it in some time, though. -There are too many CDs in stacks in my room, and some of them aren't even really mine. -I "long-term-borrowed" them from my parents' CD collection in the den. -While in my computers class earlier, I overheard a strange thing "Let me show you a really cool virus!". -And the librarian, during my free period, politely requested that I not upload any viruses into the Mac computer I had to use. -This all seems a bit suspicious. -Also, it turned out I'd moved things out of my closet in vain. -The repair person or whomever didn't need to check the heater. -I guess I'll stuff things back into my closet later.

-*le sigh* -It looks as though the 667er's doomed. -The 667er will NOT be doomed, for I'm pretty sure lots people have been planning on PMing you. -I am one of those people. -Actually, I PMed you about 10 minutes ago. -Everything will be FINE. -I think the 667er is a GREAT idea. -I think I'm going to go to bed now. -And remember, Akbar; EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE.

-So, we had our Interschool Athletics Carnival today. -Our school didn't lose, quite on the contrary we came second. -It's probably the best we've done for a while. -Our new head of P.E. is to thank. -We'll probaby have an other assmebly tommorrow. -I wasn't really competing my best as my hip is playing up again. -Second in Long jump, though it was a terrible jump. -High Jump, I did bad, it really hurt to thro my legs over the bar and my hip was at it's worst at this point of the day. -And we won our Relay. -Actually after the realay I had quite a few people come up to me and say how they didn't think I was that fast and how surprised they were. -Underestimated once again. -It was good though because I got complimented. 'like a speading bullet.' Heh. -That's a nice photo Peej. -I like wind swept photos. -Though I usually like to push my hair behind me so you can see it blowing in the breeze behind me. -It's been a while since I've been in the mood to take a photo on a partcularly windy day though. -I'm sunburnt. -I should have worn sunscreen today. -Oh well I'll have to put some fake tan on anyway. -I noticed today how light my skin really is. -My legs are practically albino. -It was really quite depressing. -Well that's pretty much all.

-I tried to participate in a long jump once, at my elementary school. -I was good, but not nearly good enough to be on the actual team. -Nowadays, I'm not really into sports. -I don't have any photos of myself where I look windswept. -It's been some time since I had an opportunity to be photographed in a windy place. -Last night I didn't sleep very well. -I should have breakfast, although I feel a bit sick. -I read somewhere that when Lee Harvey Oswald shot Kennedy, he had a copy of The Catcher in the Rye in his pocket. -I wonder if that's really true. -*searches* Apparently not, but the man who shot John Lennon had a copy of Catcher with him.

-Funny that you guys mention long jump -Tomorow I'm measuring the 5th grade long jump for school -Stupid sports carnivals -Though, without it, I would have to do my german oral tomorow -Which is a bit of a problem, seeing as I haven't really started it yet -Monday it is, then -I'm an official freelance journalist -I'll probably have the article done by the weekend -Heh -"PJ's Rant" -It's like insulting n00bs, but all legit! -Ok -Sleep time -Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne is teh roxx0rz -Especially the Orc RPG campaign -Pesky humans -You gotta love any games which contain the words "I permit you to slaughter them." -Heh -Good ol' Thrall -And his WacKY shamanistic antics -Lok'Tar'Ogar! -Trust me to memorise Orc War-Cries... -I'll go now -Sleep -Oh, wait -I need to memorise this stanza first -I've taken it upon myself to learn Poe's The Raven off by heart -So far I've got the first two stanzas, and the last -Goodnight

I've just read Killing, My mother's birthday is tomorrow. I'm making her a card. I'm watching Simpsons at the moment. I've won a Simpsons Shorts DVD set on eBay. I downloaded 125 Simpsons songs, but they only work if I'm connected to the Internet. I'm hosting The Nameless Novel Ball in exactly a month.

-We had to do long jump in P.E. a few times. -I wasn't bad at it, but I wasn't good at it, either. -However, I was one of the best people in school at the high jump out of the people who weren't really tall. -It's one of the sports-like activities I'm at all good at. -I've just spent ages writing a description of the life of John Keats. -I hate my second English Literature teacher. -And it rained all the way home. -Bah. -My Economics lesson was good, though. -It's still raining now. -I don't think it's stopped for hours. -I found a neat Herman Melville quote, which I've put in my commonplace book. -"All that happens to a man in his life is only by way of a joke." -That reminds me of "a man's life." -I might have heard that quote before... -Bits of it sound familiar. -I can hear the TV in the lounge. -Oh, and my father bought me The Science of Discworld. -...For no clear reason. -Still, I'm sure it's good. -I'll save it until after I've finished all the other Discworld books we own, though.

-I have a Photography project. -We're supposed to find old photos of family members, and put together a family tree. -At least it's not due until the middle of next month. -In the words of Mr B: "If you can't complete this project in a month, you deserve to be horse-whipped, boiled in oil, hung out to dry, slapped with a lanyard, and have your organs pulled out and fed to you". -He's an interesting teacher, certainly. -I just lost my Visual Basic project. -At least I think I'll have time to redo it tomorrow. -It'll just be very hard having to retype everything. -I guess I'll do a little now. -I've heard of The Science of Discworld. -It sounds really cool.
