-You do yoga, J? That's cool, I've always wanted to do it but I've never gotten the chance. -My friend Chris is ambidextrous, or so he says. He can write with both hands, though. It's weird, especially how he changes hands really quickly to annoy me. -I don't think I know anyone who's a contortionist, though, and it would be weird, anyway. -Many of my friends are double-jointed, though, mainly in their fingers and arms, but I'm not. -My mum always tells me I'll become a hunchback if I don't sit straight. -Wolf babies would be cute. Anyone care to make one? I'll have to find a wolf first. -I'd hate to not be able to eat corn, because it does get stuck in your teeth and stuff but it's really nice when it wants to be. -I still need to do my History homework. -I need to make a poster advertising the Temple of Asclepius, where Ancient Greeks (the rich ones) went to get healed. -I love all Ancient Empires, especially Egypt and Greece. -Rome, China and Persia are quite cool too, though, and all of the others. -I was listening to "I Walked With A Zombie" by Wednesday 13 but now it ended. -Aimee sent it me, but I'm not really into Wednesday 13 or the Murderdolls. -They're also necrophiliacs, I believe, like that horrible band called Cradle of Filth, who Tasha loves. -I think necrophiliacs are absolutely disgusting and should be locked up forever. -I'm wearing bright green socks. -I was wearing all black last night: Nine Inch Nails' "Pretty Hate Machine" shirt, black combat trousers and black socks. -It was fun.

-I wish I could contort myself. -Some people I knew in elementary school were really good at contorting. -I tried once, and pulled a muscle. -I also wish I were ambidextrous. -A while ago, I was practicing writing left handed. -When I had to write the same sentence over and over again for some reason, I tried writing backwards with my left hand, like Da Vinci. -I don't remember how well I did. -If I tried writing with my left hand now, I don't think I'd do very well. -I just have terrible penmanship, really. -And I've always thought "penmanship" was a silly word. -1984 is a great book. -We're reading it in literature class sometime later this year. -Having already read it, I feel prepared. -There are Orwell-related collages on the walls of the literature classroom. -A lot of my classrooms have cool things on the walls.

-A few of my classrooms have posters and collages on the walls. -They're... mostly about the same thing. -Romeo & Juliet. -I think that most classes have to produce a collage about it during Year 10 or 11. -Funnily enough, I don't think I ever did. -Or maybe I did... But I don't think my group/class's collage got put up. -And they aren't allowed to put up things all over the walls any more. -They have to put them on the... the thing-boards. -What're they called... Often made from a cork-like substance. -I've forgotten. -But yeah, they're not allowed to put anything up anywhere else because of some stupid rule the company who owns the building came up with. -I think they all have to have the same kind of clock, too. -It's really boring, as most rooms just look exactly the same. -Incidentally, has anyone ever seen/read A Winter's Tale or Cat On A Hot Tin Roof? -We're doing those in my English Literature class later this year, and I want to be forewarned. -Somebody I knew could dislocate one of his shoulders, or something. -Some of those contortionist exercises don't look too hard. -Then again, I suppose they wouldn't, would they? -The sun's shining right at me through the window, so I'm going to close the curtain.

-Our classrooms have really good things on the walls, too. -In my opinion the English, Geography, History and French(/German) rooms have the best things on the walls, but that may be because those are my favourite lessons. -The English rooms have mainly poetry and Shakespeare posters, the Geography classes have maps of the world and pictures of waterfalls and things, the History rooms have Historical pictures (my History room last year, Mr Bowler's class, had a huge collage of famous people from 1900 onwards on it and sometimes I'd just stare at those, as they were right next to my seat) and the Language rooms have nice phrases in French and German all over, French and German world/European maps, and of course pictures of French/German destinations, such as Strasbourg, which I'm going to with school next month. -Which reminds me, I need to get my mum to get my E111 from the Post Office. -In case you Americans have a different name for E111s (ee-one-elevens), they're medical forms you need when going abroad, I believe. -I finished my History homework, I'm quite proud of it. -I also put in some of my knowledge of Greek gods and goddesses so Mr Chapman should be nicely surprised. -Perhaps I should tell him that I was majorly obsessed with the Egyptians and Greeks when younger and have read lots of information on each. -And that I have pseudo-Ancient Egyptian jewellery (I wish it wasn't pseudo-, but then again if that was the case it'd be in Manchester Museum or whatever now), a huge folder on everything there is to know about Ancient Egypt and some years ago I found out all about Greek gods and goddesses all for the fun of it. -But I find it hard to talk to him, especially as he stares at me when I write and at lunchtimes or breaks when I see him and smile he gives me a weird look. -Oh, well. -I think we're going out for dinner tonight, to the Trafford Centre, because our relatives are over and Mamanie's back. -Perhaps I'll do a little shopping if we get the chance, but there's nothing in particular that I need or want right now. -I think I may have a sore throat coming on, because Aimee has one and I spent all of yesterday with her, and she caught her's from Steph, who constantly has a cold and sore throat. -My friends all have "Strepsils" when they have a sore throat but my mum tells me to gargle warm saltwater before sleep and it's usually completely healed the next day. -I can't actually tilt my head back and gargle, so my definition of it is just washing it around in my mouth and then getting rid of it, but not swallowing. -I think I asked my mum if I can swallow it when younger but she said I should never do it so I haven't even tried. -My friends are at town today but I didn't go because Steph can't (she's too ill) and so I'd be alone, because it's always Aimee and Simon, Tasha and Johnny and Jack and his hugging friends, so. -We're going out for a meal anyway, with the family, as I said. -My mum said she found a tiny dead mouse in the garden today, so we're guessing either Tipsy or one of the other cats in our neighbourhood killed it, but I can't imagine Tipsy doing so, because she's too much of a softie.

-I can't really contort my whole body -But I am very double jointed -I've found recently that I can partially pull my arm out of socket -My friend Lindsay's little sister can bring her leg up next to her back and tuck it under her rib cage -Needless to say she is very skinny -All my friends freak out when I start doing something (such as move my tendons that are on my knuckles) -I might be going to my friend Nick's tonight -Which should be fun.... we always go to the park near his house -In front of the park is this huge hill that I rolled down once (my friend Steph dared me, and then took pictures) -My throat is sore -I'm looking forward to the second edition of The 667er-My banner is being used as an advert in Akbar's sig, which is cool -As I was just bored and was messing around ;D

-Incidentally, has anyone ever seen/read A Winter's Tale or Cat On A Hot Tin Roof? -I'm pretty sure I've seen the latter. -We watched movie versions of a few plays in my literature class last year, and Cat On a Hot Tin Roof was one of them. -I don't remember if we actually read the play, though. -There were a lot of things we read in that class without going into any sort of depth about them. -I can't remember much about CoaHTR, though. -All my classrooms have the same kind of clock on the walls. -Only about half the clocks work, though. -My literature teacher put a sign over her clock saying "Time will pass, will you?" -Which is silly, as there's another clock in that room--two, in fact. -It's a nice morning. -When I was outside, I saw a small hawk across the street. -And in my backyard I saw two blue jays. -I used to be pretty good at imitating that shreiky noise jays make, but when I tried today I couldn't do it.

-I've just been preparing some potatoes for dinner. -It looks like most, if not all, of my assistance with dinner today will be limited to preparing vegetables. -And I might play a game with my parents after dinner. -I think we played Scrabble last, so we'll probably play Cluedo. -Which is more fun anyway. -We were going to watch one of the movie versions of Lord of the Flies in English last year - or was it the year before? - but we never got around to it. -Quite a pity, really. -My family might be going to see Much Ado About Nothing this Wednesday. -And we'll probably go to the movies sometime. -We haven't been to my school today, but I'll try and persuade them that we should go tomorrow. -I'll remember the warm saltwater suggestion next time I have a sore throat. -Thanks, Kimia. -Those strepsil things never seem to work. -I think they're supposed to numb your throat, but they never worked for me. -I had to do something similar when I had a tooth out a while back. -I'll look up Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, if I remember to. -In fact, I'll do that now. -I haven't seen many birds about today. -But I haven't really been looking. -One of my old Maths teachers - more on him in a moment - had an amusing sign on the wall of his classroom, while he was still at school (again, more later). -I can't remember what the sign said, though. -He also had a poster of "Ten Common Mathematical Mistakes." -Anyway, this person, Mr. S., was my teacher in Year 7, and then he left, but I discovered recently that he'd returned. -A lot of people seem slightly intimidated by him - they say he was mean to them. -He was quite polite to me the other day, though. -I always liked him. -He was extremely tall, and used to have to duck slightly to go through some of the school's shorter doors. -I think part of this may be my memory exaggerating, though.

-My math classroom had some neat Escher posters on the walls. -There was also a poster on human evolution, for some reason. -When I come into a new classroom, I always want to look around a bit and examine the posters on the walls. -It's been a long time since I've played Clue. -And I only played it against my sister, rather than with my family, so it probably wasn't as fun/challenging as it might be. -I don't think I've ever actually played Scrabble. -It's been some time since I've played any board games. -We watched a movie version of Lord of the Flies in one of my history classes, I think. -It might have been in Ms L's class, although I might have seen the movie in two different classes. -My father's gone out to visit my grandmother. -I'm in the house alone, my sister being someplace outside.

My English teacher's classroom has a bunch of movie posters, my math teacher's classroom has mathy drawings that we did the first week of school, my world cultures teacher's mathroom has lots of maps and stuff related to world cultures and economics on her walls, my french teacher has lots of french stuff on her walls, I don't remember what else I take. Bio, my bio teacher has pictures of this guy who looks like Steve Zissou on her wall and some diagrams and stuff. My art teacher has art on her walls. I probably take some other stuff but i don't remember at the moment. I was going to go to a football game, but at the moment it doesn't seem like it. Maybe I can get my dad to take me to the eating club anyway. I want to eat out. I wanna go to Barnes and Noble and get CDs. I hate the people at the record store because they always look like they're judging you. I also want to go to the good seafood restaurant that has good soup and focaccia. raoawr I haven't had good food in a while. I have so much homework and so many tests to catch up on. aohijeth wrtj

-The old Maths rooms used to have Escher drawings too. -And some $-£ conversion charts. -And on the walls of my Economics/Government room/s there are adverts for A-Level magazines on the subject, which they're encouraging us to subscribe to. -Maybe when I have more time... -And in one of my English rooms, there are loads of labels with literary techniques written on them on one wall. -And there are large grey metal cabinets. -And I've destroyed my back today by sitting in this chair too much. -I'm not used to it any more. -I should really take a lie-down. -Also, my parents argued. -It all boils down to Father repeatedly calling out something which I thought was directed at Mother, but was actually directed at me. -So then they ended up arguing, rather than shouting at me. -Crazy adults. -Mother just came and told me that they've made up. -"We just live in tense times." -How very true. -If I can't get a Snicket 2006 Calendar - currently, it doesn't seem to exist - I might get an Escher calendar. -There was one at the bookstore. -Oh, and there were some Escher pictures in the Maths corridor. -There was the famous never-ending staircase, and something involving angels and bat-devil things. -I think I took a picture of the latter, and posted it here.

I want a nuns having fun calendar.
This year I have this fun calendar that has pictures of cats and dogs with their eyes stretched and human teeth and stuff.
I wish I could drive.
And had money.
Then I could go do stuff.

-I haven't entirely decided what sort of calendar I want for next year. -Those ones with distorted pictures of cats and dogs are pretty weird. -Mother said she was going to order the ASoUE calendar at some point, but we worry that it may not exist. -I might get an Escher calendar. -There was also an Edward Gorey one someplace that looked interesting. -I still have my 2004 ASoUE calendar under my bed someplace. -I actually have a few of my old calendars saved, for no particular reason. -I watched two episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh this morning. -They were pretty good, but this season's not quite as interesting as past ones. -Mother's still not home from shopping yet. -Father and I are going to the movies in a couple of hours, when he gets home from visiting Grandmother.
