-Now I think I am getting a cold. -Or it could just be the morning again. -I'm generally rather snuffly in the mornings. -I might see The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe. -If only for something to do. -And to compare it to the BBC version. -It's been years since I saw that. -So... -*twiddles thumbs* -It looks pretty damp outside. -I thought I was going out for a picnic today, but it turns out my parents were just being confusing. -I'm glad. -Besides, it's rather too grim today for a picnic. -I don't think I've ever seen a movie twice. -Well, not at the actual cinema. -And it's been a while since we rented out any movies. -Oh, the sun's come out. -And I can see a break in the clouds. -It actually looks rather nice. -Two of the sites I get games from where down yesterday. -I'm bored. -I'm not bored as often as I used to be, now. -Probably because there are plenty of things that I could be doing. -So, in the next series of Doctor Who, it seems they're going to meet the Devil. -That should be pretty interesting. -And weird, really. -Until then, though, I don't really have much reason to watch TV. -There's a detective show that I like, but other than that, I don't watch TV much. -I barely even pay attention to the news. -And I've pretty much stopped reading the newspaper. -They changed the format, and now I don't like it.

-I've never seen the Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe BBC production , although I'm pretty sure someone I knew had a videotape of it. -The new movie they're making of it looks really cool. -I don't remember if I ever finished the Narnia books, although I might have read them out of order at random intervals, like I do with some book series. -I'll probably reread them at some point, after I finish the two or three things I'm reading right now. -I've seen some movies multiple times in the theater. -My whole family liked the ASoUE movie, so we saw it three time. -I think we saw one of the Harry Potter movies twice, as well. -We were planning to see Hitchhiker's a second time, but never got around to it. -We have it on DVD now, though.

-I read the Narnia books out of chronological order, but that's because they were written out of chronological order. -I have an old box set of them which Mother had when she was a child. -I think. -Of course, I've insisted on putting them in their box in chronological order. -Although The Horse And His Boy messes that up, as you'd have to cut TLTWATW in half, and then stick THAHB in the gap. -As I said on Friday, to P. -I'm trying to come up with B12 titles to submit to Egmont's Nameless Novel competition. -Heh, that's a good one. -I only have two guesses left. -I think I'll save one, but I'm planning on using up another one in a few minutes, after some refinement. -I have a headache, and I'm pretty sure I've got a cold. -Of course, I was up in the loft earlier, sorting out Lego and stuff. -And it's awfully dusty up there. -It's possible that I'm suffering a prolonged allergic reaction. -Or, more likely, I'm a hypochondriac. -I never see movies twice in the cinema. -My parents wouldn't allow it. -But once is usually enough for me. -I watched some of an episode of Futurama earlier. -It was alright. -Now I rather wish I'd watched it through to the end. -It would have been something to do.

-We have a Narnia boxed set someplace, probably. -At least, we have all the books in the series. -Heh, I once read an Amazon review that described Harry Potter as being an exact rip-off of Narnia. -There was also one saying that Harry Potter ripped of Lord of the Rings. -And some call ASoUE a Harry Potter ripoff, so does that mean that Snicket is ultimately ripping off either C S Lewis or Tolkien? -People seem to assume that all fantasy books are rip-offs of each other. -I feel a bit sick. -And I'm still tired from not sleeping well. -I probably need to sort out my Spanish notebook. -We were supposed to be numbering our assignments, but I keep forgetting.

-I think people must be confusing books in the same genre with rip-offs. -They both have unicorns! OMGs plagiarism! -That said, genuine rip-offs do exist. -As well as parodies, but they don't count. -Actually, now I can't remember if Narnia had unicorns. -It's been years since I read them, or saw the BBC TLTWATW. -I remember thinking some things in them were pretty cool, though. -I've got nothing against Christian allegories, so long as they're at least inventive and original, and preferably subtle. -Anyone remember when I played that online game which turned out to be a Christian allegory? -King's Quest, I think it was called. -Or possibly Shepherd's Quest. -Or maybe I'm mixing up the title and plot. -There was another game called Peasant's Quest. -That was funny, but very difficult. -I'm no good at text games. -My gods, is it that late in the month already? -I'll go add October dates to my Nameless Novel transcript thread. -Actually, first I'll estimate whether I'll need another post for it. -Given all the tasks that there will be, I might. -Although it's not going to be a full two months. -Hm. -A few minutes ago, I had to run outside and help bring the washing in from out of the rain. -So now I'm rather tired. -And I stil have a headache. -I have only two guesses left on Egmont's Nameless Novel competition. -I think I've submitted some fairly unique and inventive titles, though.

-Wasn't that Christian game named King's Call? -I know it had a king in it, somehow. -I don't like text games, although I haven't played many. -The sun is just starting to rise, and the sky's clear. -When I went out to get the paper, I could see the half-moon and what I think was the planet Mars. -It's probably going to be hot today. -That's okay, as I'm probably not going anywhere. -I think I'll draw my family tree for my photography project. -I've been meaning to do that for some time, so I might as well do it today, when I'll have time. -September has really flown by. -Before we know it, book 12 will be out, and then it'll be winter...

-A frosty reception for such a terrible book! -Er, or something. -I'm going to be going out for a walk in a minute. -It keeps on being sunny and then cloudy today. -More often the latter. -I've still got a dictionary and thesaurus on this table. -Bah, I've somehow got the theme song to the old Aladdin spin-off cartoon stuck in my head! -A-ray-bee-an N-aaaaaaa-yts, A-ray-bee-an D-aaaaaaa-yz, It's hotter than hot, tumty-tum ot, something tum aaaaaaa-yz... -That show hasn't even been on for years! -Argh. -Hopefully, I'll forget it while I'm out. -Speaking of which, I really must be going. -I'll be back later. -And when I am, I must remember to sort out my transcript thread. -I haven't yet - I've been busy/distracted/forgetful [delete where not applicable].

-I hate it when old songs I haven't heard for a while somehow get into my head. -That happens to me a lot with commercial jingles. -Today's crossword puzzle is pretty hard. -I was able to figure out some of it, but the clues I've found out aren't helpful for solving the ones I haven't found out. -Last night, I looked under my bed for a book on diary writing that I'm pretty sure I have someplace. -I didn't find it, though. -I think I might have put it someplace else for storage, or gotten rid of it. -It's been some time since I actually wrote in what I've been calling my diary. -I just record things in my commonplace book. -I can hear parrots outside. -Yesterday, I think I saw a hawk somewhere on my street.

I'm debating whether to self-mutilate or try to kill myself. Suffocating is harder than I expected, and when I was on a site it takes a lot of will power to leave the bag on you. Even if you take sleeping pills, you'd still be able to take the bag off. I should wait until I'm more depressed, since I'm not sure I want to actually kill myself quite yet. So I'll do something that doesn't involve scissors.

-Don't kill yourself, J. -I've been thinking about something I've never told anyone. -Except perhaps one person, but I don't talk to him anymore. -Hmm.

-Yes, J, don't kill yourself. -We'd all be so sad. -Looking at the matter from another perspective, your death would make your worst enemies rejoice. -And nobody wants that. -I've been trying to get my cell phone to work. -I've found that I can surf the internet with it. -It's really slow, though, and typing is impossible with a phone. -Plus, I'd worry about the huge phone bill. -My parents and I went for a walk up to the shopping center, and I got some iced coffee. -We bought a brownie, but I haven't eaten more than a couple of bites.
