-I've got the coolest clock. -It's a cat clock. -It meows in a different cat's voice each hour. -I must be the luckiest girl in the world. -'I do not know why people do the things they do, because I am not a psychologist. But in my opinion, my brother just screamed because his coathanger broke and he fell.' Now do you believe me that trouble, injury, and rustiness are all spelled C-O-A-T-H-A-N-G-E-R? Now? I suppose you don't because no one listens to children, not even if they're writers and amatuer spies. -Just was in the mood to say that quote, because the other day a coathanger broke on me. -I just realised! -Dewey Denuoment never got a proper burial. -We are gathered here today in memory of Dewey Denuoment. He met an untimely death, one that was most likely very painful. One that he didn't deserve, because he was a great person. He was adorable, and if he could have survived longer he would probably have a bunch of fan girls on his tail. *gestures at girls* If anyone that adores Dewey is here, please don't refrain from squeeing in memory. He's probably the father of Kit Snicket's unborn baby, and he would have made a good father. He seemed pretty level headed. In short, although his corpse rots away at the bottom of the pond, his memory will be in our hearts, and his soul will be in the big ASoUE book in the sky. Amen, or whatever they say once a funeral thingy is finished. -In other news, brunch is over there in that building. And please leave here before nightfall, when the zombies, including me, are at their worst.

-Hooray for posts. -And it did end up snowing at school, quite heavily, just to spite me. -And then, to spite me once more, none of it stuck and it's mostly melted. -And it's extremely cold outside. -For a while, I couldn't feel my fingers. -Heh, we could barely concentrate in Economics. -People kept looking out of the window to see the snow. -Thank you for giving the sub-sub librarian a proper burial, Skeleton Key. -Hm, if Kit ever wrote a book, she'd dedicate it to Dewey. -For Dewey - Love's arrow pierced my heart, and a harpoon pierced yours. -I used to have school uniform, but one of the alleged privileges of Sixth Form is freedom to wear what we want. -Within reason. -And most people seem to be dressing reasonably and interestingly. -I'm not sure now whether I'm in favour or not of school uniform. -There are other reasons for it other than to make everyone equal, but are they good reasons? -That quote reminds me of something, also. -Hm. -Possibly that book which I never read, and the movie version I never saw the end of? -Although that's just on the basis of around three of the words.

-I like that idea for a Kit dedication. -And I agree, Dewey should have had a proper burial. -Someone should hold a memorial service for him at the side of the pond. -Maybe they should publish Kit's commonplace book, and possibly Jacques' as well, and those of other volunteers, or something compiling the notes of various VFDers. -I think my elementary school wanted to have uniforms, once, but that never actually happened. -My school doesn't have an extremely strict dress code, or at least it's not very strongly enforced. -I developed the photos I took today. -I have the negatives with me, and they look pretty good. -Sometime this week, I'll be making actual prints of some of them. -I'd like to make full-sized prints of all the negatives, but I dont' think I'll get to. -I'm worried because I have a huge Government test coming up in a week. -We're only going to have one day in class to review for it, annoyingly.

-So I re-did Dante's Test -And I actually made it to Purgatory! -T'was strange -Sure, I wasn't quite truthful, but only in instances were they meant something else -Like, if I once pretended to be my sister on MSN to annoy her and chat to her friends, does that instantly mean I have to add a tick to "yes" under the "have you ever impersonated someone before?" question -I've done a lot of the things, but not in the way they've meant -Another example is the "have you ever intentionally hurt someone before?" -I mean, I've insulted plenty of people, so technically, that would mean yes -But I think they meant it on a bigger scale -Hmmm -I guess that's up to God -Or Jesus, or St. Peter, or whatever -So meh, I figure I'll either go straight to heaven, or maybe loiter around in Hell for a few months, or something - -So I'm finally reading Dante's Inferno -And a thunder-strike just wiped the power out completely, whilst I was in the middle of the test -Hmmm

- Chapter Four.-The story is now more than half-finished. -So, last week Mrs. D. told me she'd be back this week. -Apparently, her doctor disagreed. -Which is good, as it means I'm home this lunchtime, and I'll be back early on Thursday. -Most convenient. -It's a bit icy in places this morning, but what little snow we had has all melted. -The sky's really blue outside, and it's very sunny, although there are a few pure white clouds drifting around. -Wonderful weather, unless you have to walk uphill back to school. -I have a big Economics test coming up sometime, and I'm not sure when. -I'll ask Mr. F. tomorrow, if I remember. -I expected to get homework today from English, but I didn't. -Although I will on Thursday. -Ironically, my teacher won't even be in class on Thursday at all. -She's trusting us all to come in and work sensibly. -It's rather boring that she can. -I drew a family tree based on the characters in the book we're reading. -It's actually surprisingly accurate. -And it was fun to draw, too. -I like drawing maps and family trees. - Although in the case of the latter, it's hard to know what to do in the case of father-daughter incestuous relationships-Are there varying scales of sin, or is a sin a sin, no matter how harsh or light it was? -And should you risk it? -An interesting question. -Unfortunately, a more pressing matter for me is eating my lunch. -Say, this sounds awfully like that anecdote early on in The Screwtape Letters. -Good thing I'm an atheist.

She wore a dress with cherries on it, going somewhere where she'd be wanted. I dont really like that song. So aside from all the other things I want to do and go and can't decide upon I've found big to add to my list. I should make alist, that might help me organize. Im not good at list. I want to go to Africa. One of my teachers decided to go over last school year and into the summer to join a small program educating people about AIDs. She talked to us about it today. I'm pretty sure a few people cried. Normally the best response people get at these talks is having most of the auidence not fall asleep. Though the man who lived in Sudan was powerful too. But she was so amazing, and now I'm pretty in love with the idea of going over there some time.

-I have posted in here for a while it seems -Well, I have but they have all been rushed -I'm supposed to have youth group tonight -But instead I have to go to play practice -How dreadful -I was looking forward to youth group -I also have choir tonight -I have an open book test today in Marriage and the family -It shouldn't be that hard, as I always take good notes -Unlike one of my friends who just sits and draws -Idiot -It'll be a miracle if he doesn't fail the class -The only reason he takes the amount of notes he does is because I told him to -I'm pretty tired -I went to bed at 11:30 last night -I meant to go to bed at about quarter till 11 -Obviously that didn't happen -*yawn* -Have I mentioned that I got a bunch of new clothes over the weekend? -I went shopping a grand total of 3 times -Which is pretty ridiculous -I'm cold -The temperature is supposed to drop over the next few days -Good-bye 55º weather -Hello cold.

-It's cold here. -Brr. -Exams start tomorrow....:'''( -"I used to have this girlfriend known as Elsie, with whom I shared 4 sordid rooms in Chelsea. She wasn't what you'd call a blushing flower; as a matter of fact she rented by the hour. The day she died the neighbours came to snicker; well that's what comes from too much pills and liqour. But when I saw her laid out like a queen, she was the happiest corpse I'd ever seen."

-I'm sick. -Yeah. -I bet you knew that though. -Cuz I keep saying it. -Well, I have to complain somewhere, right? -Of couse right. -[/fiddler on the roof] -Now I wanna watch one of those old musicals. -We rented HP and the Sorcerer's Stone because we haven't seen it in so long. -The kids look so young. -It's funny. -Especially Hermione's bushy hair. -Now it's all straight and weird. -But like normal. -Cuz that's how everyone's hair is. -Except mine. -My hair is buuuuuuushhyyyyyy. -And since I've been sick, it's been standing up and curling at the top. -It's okay if it curls at the bottom, but not at the top. -Cuz then...I dunno.

-As you probably already know, Chapter Five has been added to Realtors in the Cave. -I didn't have time to mention that this morning, as I was already hurried for time. -Hmm, it's dark already. -Not very dark, but more dark than pretty dark. -I actually had a pretty good day at school today. -Quite a bit of messing around to balance out all the work. -Certainly an improvement on yesterday. -Somebody came in to school a week or two or three or more ago to talk about taking gap years, but she went to Vietnam to educate children. -Quite a few people weren't too impressed. -Possibly because her descriptions of the healthcare she received required her to admit that her friend had dreadful food poisoning, and she was hit by a motorbike. -I didn't think it was too bad, actually, but apparently I'm in the minority. -Of people whose real opinions I actually know, anyway. -Anyway, I'll be out at the movies for quite a lot of this evening. -I'm going to see Goblet of Fire. -I wasn't meant to be seeing it for another couple of weeks, so this is quite nice. -Oh, some stuff on my computer is updating. -How nice. -And unexpected. -But, no objections, I guess.

-Ah, I liked GoF. -I've had an okay day at school so far. -In Spanish class, someone randomly mentioned that you can't fold a piece of paper in half more than 7 times. -I've found that if you have a sheet of really thin paper, you can fold it 8 times, and Mr P said that's the limit. -I need to find a really large piece of very thin tissue paper, and see if that's actually right. -We probably have some tissue paper put away someplace. -I got to make positive prints of my negatives in Photography, and they came out pretty well. -Some of the photos were out of focus, or poorly lit, but most of them looked good. -We've started a new program in Visual Basic class, and it's pretty hard. -While we haven't done much of it so far, I'm not sure if I have it right. -At least I did well on the last few programs we made. -The weather's been really cold and dry here. -Last night, I kept waking up shivering and thirsty.

-I said that this morning before walking outside -After walking outside, I found my statement to be true -It was snowing, and freezing (literally, it was 32º outside) -It's been overcast all day -Meaning it's been gloomy and eerie -I don't think I spelled eerie right -Ah well -The heat in my brothers car was making me really tired -As if I'm not tired enough already -I got a 24 1/2 out of 25 on my open book test today -And I knew the rest of the answer, but didn't write it down -*verbally slanders her own laziness* -I got my school pictures back today -They're ok -Nothing to get excited about -I'm wearing my new black hoody -And my new pink shirt -Huzzah for new clothes -I'm tired -La-de-da

-On altavista you said "I have much task". -So, you have lots to do? -Yay, tomorrow is east-west at school -It's were we all go to the arena and watch people play hockey and we say our cheers and we wear school colours and it's really fun. -I'm going to wear lots of red and blue, because those are my school colours. -Lots of people I know go in a different school so I might see them. -Turns out we don't have any facepaint so I can't paint my face. -We leave the school at 10 o'clock so I still have to have science but science isn't too bad. -I don't have school on friday because it's a P.A. day. -The teachers called it P.D. instead, but either way I don't know what it stand for. -Yay for no-school days.
Edit: -Ooh, Lost is on tonight. -Jack and Kate would make such a nich couple. -And we get to see what happens when the thing gets to zero. -*squee*
