-The results of the first live round of The 667 Factor 3 is up -Don't mind my advertising -So right about now I should be finishing off the last of my homework/studies -But I'm obviously not -I have some research to do, an essay question to answer, and a test to study for -I ended up going to T.G.I. Friday last night instead of Olive Garden and ended up having to wait for over an hour to even sit down, let alone eat -While waiting, I was turned facing the wall (and towards my brother's girlfriend) and heard someone say my name, and turned around to find my friend Carolyn standing behind me -I haven't seen her in quite a while, and screamed "Carolyn [insert last name here]!!!" -Needless to say all the other people waiting to be seated turned and looked at me -Last night wasn't the best night in my life -By any means -Heres a random statistic for you: - 91% of all 12 year old girls who begin dating at that age become sexually active -Disturbing aye? -I'd think so -That is one of the things I have memorized for my test I need to continue studying for -It's one of the bigger tests of my Marriage and the Family class -Worth 100 points, whereas the open books was woth 25 -I hope I do well -I need a good score in this class to hopefully raise my average up -From last quarter I have a 96% overall average in that class, which is good -Christmas is in 20 days -The only reason I know that is because I happened to check the date today -I don't get nearly as excited about Christmas as I used to -A result of 'growing up' I suppose -I wore a new outfit to church today -I don't think I've heard the phraes "You look so pretty," "look at how pretty you are," "[insert my name here], you look so beatiful today," "you look like a young woman," "your parents are going to have to beat the boys off of you" so many times in my entire life -When I get complimented I tend to just smile and laugh it off -I feel weird getting complimented -My (former best friend) friend Jess told me that I looked so old and that she was about to cry -Her and Kim have amazing crying skills -They can cry at anything -Kim cried in Lion King! And Lord of the Rings: Return of the King -Craziness -I read todays issue of The 667er today, but haven't commented on it -I guess I should go do that

-Here are real random facts, instead of bloggish posts. -Oysters change their gender throughout their lives. They start out male and end female. -Oysters make pearls when a grain of sand gets stuck between their mantle and shell. -Oysters are bivalves, which are mollusks. -Phytoplankton are the most important sea organisms. -They produce oxygen for us. -Zooplankton (animal-like plankton) eat phytoplankton. -Plankton on Spongebob Squarepants looks nothing like real plankton.

-I think I knew some of those exciting oyster facts. -I definitely knew the one about pearls. -And I once knew how to tell a real pearl from a fake pearl, although I can't remember now. -I found out either in an Agatha Christie story, or a P.G. Wodehouse story. -I'm confused because the former was named Agatha and wrote a lot of books, and the latter had a character called Agatha who once had a valuable necklace stolen from her. -Or some such. -And that might have been a different aunt. -But anyway, I like P.G. Wodehouse and Agatha Christie's books. -Anyway, here I am. -I got up late today, as I don't have General Studies. -Meaning that I have yet another hour to spend at home. -If I didn't, then I'd have to leave in ten minutes, quarter of an hour. -Pity that I don't get to stay at home until the afternoon, but that's that. -It's pretty cold. -And there's a blue sky, with a few white fields of cloud in the distance. -It doesn't look particularly grim today, although it could look nicer. -Here's some random stuff off a piece of paper which I have used to scribble notes about various online games since... probably the earliest pages of this thread. -xk3v2 -I think that was an ID code. -1 Red 2Y 3G 4P 5B 6 -It turned out there wasn't a sixth. -And what does this say? "-NOT jeaves." -Jeeves? -Jeans? -Some times... -Oh, and there's another instance of the ambiguous NOT message. -Oh, that was from a logic puzzle. -Anyway, I don't expect to be doing much today. -I have an assembly, but I don't know what about. -And in Economics, we're starting on the next topic, which my teacher has optimistically described as "very boring." -Still, only a couple of weeks now until I get a break.

-Well, it's my usual Tuesday lunchtime at home. -I've had a pretty easy morning. -Hopefully, this will continue into the afternoon. -It's occurred to me that in my set text, the first 10 chapters take up one hundred pages, but the remaining 40 chapters take up two hundred and fifty. -The book is pretty unbalanced. -Anyway, I had fun in my English Literature lessons. -I had numerous opportunities to patronise educate my contemporaries. -Which is alwasy fun. -Oh, now it's sunny. -But on the way into school it was raining, and on the way back home it was grey and dull. -And I thought somebody was following me, but then they vanished. -They probably weren't following me. -They didn't have their head concealed or anything. -But then again, maybe it was a double-bluff. -It's not looking like there'll be any snow around here for Christmas, considering we only got a light dusting in the recent "cold snap." -There's still a couple of weeks, but I expect disappointment. -Hey, where's my camera? -It's meant to be on this desk, but it's gone. -Maybe my parents took it somewhere else, because they needed it, and haven't put it back. -Maybe I put it somewhere else because I needed it, and haven't put it back. -Maybe it's been stolen. -That's not very likely, really. -Unless it was the cleaners. -But then it would be obvious. -The sun has retreated back behind its cloud. -Quite a few people mentioned in my English class that they were ill. -Which makes me rather worried that I might catch something from them, too. -How intolerable. -Although my last couple of illnesses have been fairly tolerable. -Now, what was that advice for avoiding colds that I read in a letter in the newspaper? -Something about heating your nose, or something. -Meh, if I get desperate. -I've got nothing to lose, unless it actually makes your head explode or something, in which case I have everything to lose. -Including my life, but more importantly, my dignity. -I hope you enjoy Realtors in the Cave, SnicketFace. -I'll be returning to school in about half-an-hour, or perhaps a bit later. -I have some leeway, as it doesn't take as long as I think it does to get back there.

-Now, what was that advice for avoiding colds that I read in a letter in the newspaper? -Something about heating your nose, or something. -Mother's given me that same advice, or at least similar advice. -She often recommends that I take warm steamy baths to keep from getting a stuffy nose. -Warm steam is very pleasant, anyway. -Maybe I need to visit a sauna so I can better enjoy the health benefits of steam. -And I think I'd enjoy smelling hot wood. -Yesterday was my big scary Government test. -I didn't get one of the supposedly-easy identification questions, and could only make a reasonable guess at another. -However, I think I did relatively well on the big essay question, which was what I was most worried about before the test. -Today I made some large prints of some photos I took. -There was a blurry one of my mother, and a much better one of the river at the park near my house. -I'll have to make prints of about five more photos, but I have plenty of time. -There are seagulls at my school. -I tried taking some photos of them earlier, with my own camera. -I've heard that polar bears have black skin. -I remember learning that in kindergarten, and when we had to color a scene that had polar bears, or something like that, I colored the bears black. -The teacher joked that they were bald. -I have no idea why I remember these things and I can't seem to remember anything useful.

-i suspect that the amount of facts in each post gets longer and longer -i doubt anyone reads all of these anyway -I enjoy reading what random facts people have to say...I don't have a life -I've always intended on posting in this board but I keep forgetting -Not today -I'm writing a fanfiction -It's so long and I'm trying to postpone writing it by going on this forum. -13 chapters long, I've written 2 and the blurb -I like my new really cool member sig -I like today's theme -Actually I lhave liked all the themes this month -I wonder if Dupin will soon run out of ideas -I wonder if the themes will go up to the 12th, 13th or 25th -I'll be making caramal slices today - It is actually a box cake, I can't make anything else -Mm mmmm I can't wait

-Right now I'm doing my french homework. -We have to pretend we're the wolf in a play we read and write a journal entry about what happened to him in the play. -It's supposed to be 800 words long, which shouldn't be to hard; I've already got about 250. -I had a weird dream last night and I wrote it sown in my special little book. -In it, my friend was a Death Eater, and she gave something to Draco Malfoy, and I was Harry Potter. -I intend to tell my friend about that dream sometime. -Right now I'm reading Eats, Shoots and Leaves, by Lynne Truss. -It's a book about punctuation and it's pretty funny and informative. -I've got about 50 pages left. -After that, I'm going to read [/i]The Handmaid's Tale[/i]. -I've already read it but I like to reread books. -My mom bought a Toblerone. -We all split it up and I got four peices and their pretty good. -My dad will probably keep bugging me about my homework so a should probably keep working on it.

-Wow, I haven't posted here in a while. -Some things have happened...the books for my birthday that were late (Nonsense Novels and some black and white photography book were the ones I forgot to mention) have arrived....well, actually just the former. -The other isn't going to arrive until after Christmas. -My dad got back from Geneva on Thursday. -He brought some Swiss chocolate. -Which has long since been devoured. -I've been up for a while, I think. -It's now 6:42 AM. -I don't feel very tired. -I also don't want to get up for tomorrow (today?) because it'll probably be horrible. -But I think you can excuse my slightly erratic typing for that. -Plus I have this little scrape on my pinky finger that hurts and it's making it difficult to type. -I sort of fell against the computer and injured it. -That sounds like a really lame excuse, but it's true. -Oh, it seems to have started bleeding again. -I'll go wash it off. -Heh, the spell check doesn't recognize "pinky". -Or "heh". EDIT: -Ugh, I don't like it when I post on a new page because then I have to see my post first whenever this page loads. -It's much harder to simply scroll past. -I hate rereading my posts.

-Today is a very busy day for me. -My Government class was pretty dull, as we're just discussing party organisation. -My associates wanted to watch Prime Minister's Questions, to see the new Conservative Leader's performance, but Mr. F. said that we'd never find a TV. -It's true. There aren't many TVs in school. -And all the rooms with TVs were almost certainly being used for lessons. -I guess I'll check what happened now. -... -Well, he doesn't sound to have done badly. -Go democracy, I guess. -Oh, but there's an aSoUE coincidence. -Interesting. -Anyway, I've been given loads of English homework. -Apparently my class is behind, which is a perfectly good reason to ask us to do a few lessons' worth of work at home. -And an essay. -Well, it might not be too bad. -Although I don't really have too much time, as I've got to go to the theatre in a couple of hours. -Now I've got go go draw some curtains. -It gets dark so early. -I wouldn't mind if it was more snowy. -The two seem to go together, in my mind. -It's dark in the house as well. -There are barely any lights on. -And I just nearly injured myself closing a curtain. -One curtain requires me to clamber onto a sofa to draw, and while returning, I stumbled off and nearly hit myself against a corner of a table. -Which would have been very painful. -Anyway, I avoided it. -My arrogance makes me want to say by talent, but my humility makes me want to say by luck. -So I won't say anything at all.
