While the final questions are being selected, we have a decision to make. Antenora and Tryina have already posted questions with artwork in the submission thread. The original plan was to format these in the spirit of Snicketmails, where the question is typed near the top of a blank sheet and the illustration appears somewhere below. However, these styles are clearly not objectionable, and I'd like to know everyone's thoughts on how we should proceed once we have the final 43.

Though I like both those, I prefer the Snicketmail idea, personally.

I prefer Snicketmail as well. I like to think of this project as being kind of a homage to the release of ATWQ as well as a birthday congratulation.

I like the idea of them being in Snicketmail format, with two colour illustrations as well. Antenora's artwork is a perfect example of this.

Snicketmail format as well. How are the final 43 questions being selected?

I like the Snicketmail version too.
And good question, Terry Craig, I want to know that too.

I imagine that there'd be some leeway within the Snicketmail form, too. Not all of the Snicketmails are the same - some are sketch versions, others are full illustrations, then there's the cover as well. Unsurprisingly, I think Antenora's serve as a good guideline, but people can vary a little according to their inspiration. I imagine that nearly everyone would come up with something of a slightly different shape or size, and then to seal the Snicketmail impression then the final editor could paste each of them onto a consistently-shaped block of whitespace, perhaps at jaunty angles or orientations, to create that sort of scrapbook impression.
As for how the final selection of questions is being made, they're being chosen in part by me and Sherry Ann in collaboration. While there are many questions and we'll have to cut a great number to get down to forty-three, I think it should be possible to include at least one by each person who's posted.

That's settled, then. Once we have the final 43 questions we can start collecting artwork. I was thinking it would be nice if we could have the questions in a uniform font, to contribute to the overall Snicketmail impression? Or is that too much to ask?

Again, I'd allow a little leeway. Just provide a general guideline of "it should be recognisable as being like a Snicketmail." Possibly with an image of a relatively generic Snicketmail as a visual aid.
