How does everyone besides Sixteen wear their scarves? Also, I'm not sure I understand what you mean by the noose description. And I love/hate your overuse of blustery bandit ! Jees, you're not Piglet

Let me try to explain again. You hang the scarf around your neck so that both ends are over the same shoulder and on the other side is a loop. Then you thread the ends through the loop and pull it tight.

Great thread, soulmate.
I absolutely adore scarves, as indicated in the post that inspired this thread. my favorite scarf is purple and black and was bought in italy for me by a dear friend. I prefer to wear my scarves in the noose style described by Sixteen. I also have a beige and white scarf randomly left on my bed by one of my old roommates and a black and white scarf that I like to wear. I have a red and white one made by my godmother that is very warm and great for cold windy days but not fashionable in the least. I have yet to wear a scarf in California but I am so excited for the day it's necessary.
Sometimes I do thing where I do what Sixteen describes but then twist the loop part 180 degrees and then thread one end of the scarf through it so it looks like a little braided thing. I also have a black, purple, and white checkered scarf that I fold to be like a big triangle that I'll just wrap around my neck so that there's a corner in the front and then the two ends of the scarf on either side. I haven't work that scarf like that as part of an outfit rather than just as a part of not dying while being inside for a few years thought.
I have never heard of a snood though and I think here we call those infinity scarves. Snood is funny cause it reminds me of sneed.

I think scarves look really cool but I can never figure out when to wear them, because if it's really cold I wear my big hooded winter coat and there's no room to put a scarf around my neck, but if it's warm enough to not need my hood it's usually too warm to wear a scarf. Maybe I need to take the hood off my coat and wear scarves and beanies instead.

Then you thread the ends through the loop and pull it tight. Oh right! I understand now. I don't really ever wear my scarf like that. It's too claustrophobic for me. Most often, I hang the scarf around my neck, then like, throw one end over my shoulder. It's super comfy/stylish . Also, thanks soulmate!

I have several scarves. I have a black Marc Jacobs wool and cashmere scarf that I absolutely love.
