-There is a fire that kills all of Derek's family except his older sister and younger sister. -Derek's younger sister has unusually sharp teeth. -After the fire, he keeps seeing the same mysterious symbol. -Derek has to commit increasingly villainous acts to survive. -There are references to literature and mythology in the series. -For part of the series, Allison lives in the Penthouse of a hotel. -The Nematon is the stump of an enormous tree, much like Nevermore tree. -In episode 3x13, characters interact with an actual copy of The Bad Beginning.
In short, everyone on this forum needs to watch Teen Wolf.

this is true, teen wolf makes a great companion to asoue and its hella entertaining. AND IVE BEEN TELLING ALL OF YOU TO WATCH IT BECAUSE ITS LIKE ASOUE FOREVER I AM GLAD YOU SEE THE LIGHT.
anyway there are many reptiles in asoue and a reptile features heavily in season 2. also events keep getting more dire for derek and also the rest of the characters. also the lions in that lion pit are like feral wolves. also i think there were anagrams in this last episode.

I thought of another thing: in Derek's backstory episode there was a schism!

Anybody up for character comparisons?
Although the loss-of-Allison subplot hasn’t quite developed yet in this season, it’s pretty clear that they’re going to be making it a prominent thing (all that salsa about how Scott can’t find his anchor anymore, and how Isaac is starting to get his mojo working as well). With that in mind, I think Scott’s history with Allison is very similar to Lemony and Beatrice.
As children in their VFD training days, Lemony and Beatrice were in a sort of juvenile romance, and they were both very enraptured in each other—however, Lemony much more so than Beatrice. Most of this isn’t discussed in the actual series but is very prevalent in The Beatrice Letters, where we get an insight into the sort of relationship that L&B had. Of course, this is just like Scott and Allison’s season one liaison. Their naiveté leaves them both giddy with how special their teenage loves seem to be; Scott is a novice werewolf, still reeling with the effects of his powers, and Allison has just arrived in a new town full of exciting people. It’s a bit like being swept off your feet by a secret organization with the key to unforeseen knowledge and other youngsters with the same level of intelligence as you.
Then obsession arrives. Scott is so in love with this girl that his entire life starts to revolve around her. His username and password are both “Allison”, for crying out loud! And with great… uh, girlfriends, comes great responsibility. Something goes wrong. The bright and unalterable future that once was has been altered. When Scott’s heart breaks, Lemony’s heart breaks, and suddenly they are both left wondering how the heck that one slipped out of their fingers. Lemony had gone so far as to propose, and everything was set.
Both boys were madly in love, and such a dramatic breakup at such a dramatic time cannot have good side effects. Lemony pretty much melts into a puddle the second he realizes his loss. Scott keeps his cool through season two while directing the occasional “what the hell” glance towards Allison, but in season three we can see how much he has really suffered. Neither side had been pretending that they were completely moved on-- but now Scott is losing the ability to control his wolfy instincts, and Allison is apprehensive to reciprocate Isaac’s metaphorical eyebrow wiggles even though it’s been almost a year since she cut the knot with Scott.
If Allison’s sexy-time dreams in 3b are due to come true, then we can also assume that Isaac is a good equivalent for Bertrand. But we’ll see…

I'm trying to remember if we were actually being serious in this or if it was another attempt to troll Dante.

I never saw it. I think we were going to watch it in a hangout and it never happened. I think I'd like it though, because Michael J. Fox is the best.
