Vote for the best group here! Also the poll is visible, because I run a transparent democracy, unlike elsewhere on this forum

Well, you know, Bee, many democracies have a thing called the secret ballot, where...
But thanks, it should be interesting.

The ballot is still secret- we can't see who voted for which group but rather a running tally. This allows for tactical voting, no 'wasted' votes and reduced chance of ties.

At least it's not Chinese democracy. What a terrible Guns N Roses album.

Tactical voting is cheating, and useless votes are the most honest ones.

[excessively serious]I think tactical voting makes sense in political elections, where the important thing is to get the most generally acceptable outcome (though it wouldn't be necessary if we had a more sensible voting system). Not so much with awards, where the point is just to show what people like.[/excessively serious].
But anyway, this is just an unofficial award on a message board, so the organisers can run it how they like. And perhaps this method of voting is especially suitable to this award.

I'm just waiting around so I can be the tiebreaker.

1) If there is a tie, I will change my vote and tie break it myself 2) Poll closes on 29th of May at the exact time I get out of my Spanish exam, so you've a while yet. 3) This is a vote for an award on a kids' forum. It isn't even an ~official~ award on a kids forum. Don't get your knickers in a twist over the poll format, babies.

What is bad about ties? Why do they need to be broken? Isn't it nice if more people have the chance to win?
