An unsurprising 96% Bernie Sanders and a surprising 94% Hillary Clinton (I might have to research her views a little, I honestly thought I disagreed with her about most things). Closest republican is Mike Huckabee with 34%.
I allegedly agree with Trump on economic issues. I'll have to look into that, as I really doubt Trump has the same socialist views as I do.

Funnily enough, I got the most like Bernie Sanders (86%) and 73% Clinton in second place. I wonder if this has anything to do with us in particular or if most of the US is just like this.

It might have something to do with this being an international forum, and most western countries leaning more towards the democratic approach than the republican one. I know I personally find it absurd to lack free healthcare, ban gay marriage, or to have guns available to private individuals, because that's not how those things are done in the society I've grown up in. Since my vote doesn't count in a US election, our results are probably not very representative of the general American consensus. That said, we are a community based on a series of books, and one known for its intertextualities, at that, so we're generally quite well-read. There might be a causation there, or it might just be a coincidence. It's still too early to say anything for certain, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case. Also, there's a pretty rough 'take that!' aimed at George Bush and Dick Cheney, two republicans, in The End, which is at least one thing that would discourage die-hard republicans from joining a forum like this.

My country is what Americans consider conservative, banning gay marriage and abortions, etc. But I'm just strangely liberal.
