I tried Violet, Sunny and Klaus because they're in the arboretum in TE, I tried arboretum, I tried the whole genealogical tree of the Baudelaires and the Snickets, I tried using the names of pretty much all the characters we know in their "young" version, I tried the Anwhistle family because of their relationship with Beatrice, I tried with young Beatrice, I tried with the Incredibly Deadly Viper because it's the only creature who's in the tree during TE and then I think I gave up.

Damn, I should have got that clue. My favourite bit of asoue is when isadora is stuck in a tree and begins singing a song about when she was younger and the americans arrive, but I just couldn't make the connection. Darn it, you're just too good for me

I was going to have 'cjmmdjqifs' be the mod clue, but I think it didn't qualify because it's sort of a puzzle in itself.

I just googled that, and doing that is not going to give you any help, I'm afraid. Though if you already know where the quote's from, you might be able to figure it out for yourself.
