Is it case sensitive? More than a word? Are there any rules for these passwords? Yes to all. Yeah, I answered it on page 21.

The answers can of course be from either series. In the original run, there were even some that weren't technically from asoue (I know Stephin Merritt was an answer once for example). There was never anything said that it was only proper nouns either. Obviously it shouldn't be something like "The answer is couch because the Baudelaire's sat on a couch once" but things that are important parts of the plot are allowed, and invisible ink is a good example of that. For capitalization, the general rule of thumb is that it will be how it appears in the books. Proper nouns will be properly capitalized, invisible ink wouldn't be (note I didn't actually check so if for some reason it is capitalized in the series sue me) Other than that, there is no and should be no standardized form. The fun is that you never know what you're going to get. Be creative when making them, and solving them, and we'll all have a great time. Explanation of rules here

That song of Pacific Overtures is sang by an old man who talks about how, when he was youngd saw the americans arrive from the top of a tree. I suppose it has something to do with TVV or TE? Clues please?

clue 1 (idk if this is too little or too much, but w/e) the song is relevant to the answer; the specific line quoted is not

the answer was: isadora quagmire. the connection i had in mind was that she was the only(?) actual "someone in a tree" in asoue, i guess not literally but by proxy of her poems.

does that not make sense because if you said "someone in a tree" and "asoue" to me that's the first person i would think of / the first person that logically follows
