Evening to all! (though you might read this in the morning, the afternoon, or the heart of the night)
I'm J., a quite unusual name you might say but I don't like nicknames nor my name. I'm a girl whose mother tongue isn't english, which may explain future grammatical mistakes, or may not. I discovered Lemony Snicket's writings when I was 8, once my parents were away, travelling, and since then they never left me - as most of the books I ever liked. I developped quite an obsession about Snicket's universe and, now I joined 667 Dark Avenue, I hope I'll be able to exchange with other passionate volunteers about it, in order to explore the unsolved mysteries that have added up with every published book.
I also enjoy tea, as long as it is as bitter as wormwod and as sharp as a two eged sword and that the world is quiet here.
Looking forward to join some very frantic debates,
J.

Hey, J.! You seem very interesting, I hope you have a good time here and stick around a while. Do you plan to watch the Netflix series?

Hi! I indeed plan to venture on this website as long as I can, though we never know what the future will bring us... I'm shared between an overwhelming excitation about the show and a strong feeling of fear, as I have been genuinely disappointed by the way the ASOUE movie adapted the story (not in the aesthetic, but in the way the movie handled the characters and the scenario). I'll be thereby watching - carefully - the show, hoping for an adaptation as unfortunate as the books. How about you?

Hi J. I agree, tea should definitely be as bitter as wormwood. Where do you come from originally? if you don't mind me asking.

Hi! I am pleased to see I am not the only one who stays away from sweet light tea and the ones who serve it... I come from a little town near a huge city sheltering the quite known Eiffel Tower. And you?

J'aime le francais (my apologies if that's wrong) I come from a tiny village, near a very small city. Many people believe where I am from is the same as England but we are our own bilingual nation (with an awesome anthem, In my opinion). Cymru am byth! (Wales forever)

Aha, so you took french classes? It's a quite difficult language, I was told, but you didn't make any mistakes so far. I never went to Wales, though I travelled a few times to England, but I plan to go in the next few years, as I was also told it holds amazing landscapes...

Ah merci. I took french until I was 16. I don't really remember much of it now unfortunately. Wales is a beautiful place, especially in the mountain areas in the north. I live in the South, close to Cardiff which is a lovely little city. I've been to France a couple of times when I was in school. I would love to go again sometime as I never got the chance to go to Notre Dame, it's a wonderful piece of architecture.

salut J. si tu veux parler français avec un vrai homme de 667, tu dois penser à bibi ! :) ;) Hey J! You seem like a super nice, quirky person who I'm excited to meet. Hope I'll see you around? (Also I can read minimal amounts of French... something about thinking of a real man?)

Hello J., and welcome to 667. I can tell that you've read A Series of Unfortunate Events, but have you ever read All the Wrong Questions? If so, which do you prefer?

+snicket24601: Aha, Notre Dame is stunning, I agree. Where did you go to when you came in France? +bear: Et quelle est donc la définition d'un "vrai homme du 667", si je peux me permettre? +Eponine: Thank you! Hope I'll see you around too, you seem nice! (Who knows what a real man is...) +gliquey: Hi! I indeed read ATWQ, and if I had to pick one, I'd choose the fourth: Why is this night different from all the other nights? as I really like stories that include trains. What about you? +Mister M: Very frivolous discoveries, you?

The first time I went to Calais. The second time I went to Paris, saw the Eiffel Tower and went to the Louvre. I also went to Disneyland for a day and that was fun. Paris as a whole was probably more exciting than Calais, but it was interesting all the same.
