Found another review in the form of a podcast, clicked play to listen, and found a surprise! They included a preview of the theme song ("Look Away") as the intro! I really was wanting to save that reveal for the show premiere, so... whoops! But I'm sure there are other people interested to hear it (spoiler alert: it's pretty awesome), so this is the link: www.theperiodictableofawesome.com/a-series-of-unfortunate-events-review-tptoa-podcast-05/EDIT: I'm in the process of listening to the podcast and the creators actually included a snippet from the show as well. It sounds like the opening lines from Lemony Snicket ("If you are interested in stories with happy endings..."). I'm going to skip over that, but if you want to hear it it's around the 15:20 mark.

Is there a free movie website that releases Netflix originals the day after it's been released because I don't have a Netflix account and the thing is that the website I currently use released the Jen K. Movie or whatever which was released on the 3rd like 3-4 days later. Ahhhhhhhh I want to watch ASOUE over the weekend Look I've watched my fair share of pirated movies and shows so I won't get all sanctimonious, but if you can you should watch the show legally so that Netflix can continue to strive and succeed for the amount effort and risk they put into their programming. The billions of dollars they have invested in original content needs to be made back and that is only through paid subscriptions. It's 10 dollars month, most children would be able to afford that on allowances from doing chores around the house and I'm assuming you are at least a teenager.

Also just realized that Olaf singing is probably just the opening to each episode... Earlier I was thinking it would be in the show, maybe it is, but I think it's just the opening theme. Nice

SWEET CHRIST!!! Now I know what I'll be singing for the rest of the year Here's my attempt at transcribing the lyrics (sorry if there's a few mistakes, English is not my native language) : Look away, look away. Look away, look away. The show will wreck your evening, your whole life and your day. Every single episode is nothing but dismay. So, Look Away. Look Away, look away. Three children loose their home and go to live with someone awful. He tries to steal their fortune with a plot that's not quite lawful. It's hard to fathom how the orphans manage to live through it . But how a decent person like yourself would even want to view it. Just look away, look away There's nothing but .... EDIT: Thanks to Moana Snicket and Terry Craig for corrections.

Geez. Not sure I like it but I'm impressed by their panache in doing this.
Think it's "live through it" and "lawful" instead of laughable, but thanks for the transcription.

But how a decent person like yourself would even want to look view it?Good job on the rest (y) As to the song itself: I love it. Still not sure how they'll pull of the musical numbers, but this is a good sign. Gothic Archies-esque indeed.

I love the song, it sounds fantastic! I'll be humming it forever, now. I was really worried that it would be too showtunish, but I actually really love it.
The podcast review, though, is really meandering and not fun to listen to. It also sounds like they just totally didn't get the humor. The unceremonious deadpan delivery is kind of the point, although I guess that's hard to comprehend when you've only got the movie as a comparison.
"That's gotta be hard to find, I mean, I don't know anyone who's a big fan of Lemony Snicket!" ...ha...

Just a question, has anyone noticed a VFD of any sort in the new "Hello Children" trailer?
