This is really only peripherally related to the show, but Netflix just sent out this tweet. Thought it was mildly amusing.

I got a ticket to the screening in NYC on Thursday! So excited! There's going to be a screening (I'm guessing it'll just be the first episode? I have no idea) and a Q&A panel with Handler, NPH, Alfre Woodward, and Patrick Warburton! I'll let y'all know how it goes, of course.
Also my mind has been churning with ideas of what to ask if I get to ask something during the Q&A panel- let me know if you have any good ideas.

I can't think of any questions to ask, but I'd be so grateful if you were able to tell us the highlights of the Q&A!

I wonder who Olaf is bringing those roses for? We did see him grab them in the Meet Count Olaf teaser.

Ooh I like the fact that they're tying in promotions to the golden globes, though I still wish they had gone all out with an interactive campaign. Maybe for next season.
Stray thoughts of mine I haven't bothered to say so I'm saying them now before we get any further into release week
-Dr Orwell's cane better be amusing and menacing and the sword/tooth duel better be ridiculous and genuinely suspenseful.
-Aaah what a time to be alive guys!
-I've been impressed by a couple of trailer examples of the Snickety way adults interact with the children. The "WRONG! It's a list" thing for obvious reasons; Olaf being so sure the kids were going to be wrong he didn't listen. I think nph overacted it a bit but oh well. The other example is Mr Poe's delivery of the perished definition and his little smile after Klaus responds. It was a good demonstration of Mr Poe having no idea how to conduct himself in the situation, and perhaps poorly attempting to be comforting. One of the reviews said he threatens to steal the show so I have high hopes for him now (and please let him do the Nathaniel Hawthorne line).
-Justice Strauss wearing her court gear on public transport and while hanging out in her library is adorable.
-I really genuinely like the carpe diem scene and how JS is more concerned with correcting someone's Latin than thinking the obvious "did he just say seize the children?"
-hasn't been a heap of Monty or Jo in the trailers yet so I hope they have decent-sized roles
-Violet's hair looks stupidly sleek but other than that the children look really suitable visually.
-I like the TSS callback in the latest trailer with Sunny's biting remark on Olaf's table manners. (See what I did there, eh? Biting remark, get it? Please laugh.)
-I'm not expecting to like the show particularly. I know myself too well. However, I AM going to have a lot of fun with it, and I'm so happy asoue is getting another chance and some attention.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWVgQ_Mu6XM This spot in HD finally. Also, I finally figured out the scene with the flowers. Count Olaf is taking them to Dr. Orwell, probably in an attempt to get her to agree to his plot. I suddenly realized that the door, flower pots and windows in the Meet Count Olaf trailer matches with Dr. Orwell's office as we saw in the newest spot.

Just a note, Netflix also uploaded that spot Strangely mentioned to Youtube themselves, just in case anyone would rather watch it on their Youtube channel.
