I particularly enjoy Patrick's over use of the word "insurmountable". XD

That's interesting that Patrick Warburton's snicket was in an acting troupe with Olaf. I knew they went to school together but I can't remember them being actors together in the books.
. Sounds like all the actors had a blast working on this it's wonderful to hear.

Oh my freakin' goodness can it just be Friday already? Also, I love when Warburton interrupts quoting his own texts with Barry Sonnenfeld just to say "That's how things work these days." I really think he's gonna rock it as Snicket. And to think when I first heard the casting I was a little iffy.

Neil Patrick Harris was on CBS's The Talk earlier today, I'm currently downloading the CBS app so I can watch the full episode and see what he said about ASOUE/if they showed a new clip, since all there is on their Youtube channel is a one minute clip of him talking about Debbie Reynolds. According to this website, he will also be on the Late Late Show with James Corden tonight on CBS (which starts in just under half an hour in my time zone), as well as LIVE with Kelly on ABC on Friday 1/13, and Watch What Happens Live on Bravo next Wednesday 1/18. The website also says Aasif Mandvi will appear on the Daily Show with Trevor Noah tomorrow (Tuesday 1/10) and that Rhys Darby will appear on Comedy Central's At Midnight this Wednesday 1/11.

I found the Talk episode online: www.cbs.com/shows/the_talk/video/RxBPUVA7XgNPhGlhvuGJ57iXsMiQRxVg/the-talk-1-9-2017/His interview starts around the 29:50 mark. It's the same clip as released last month (Olaf first meeting the children), with an extended bit in the beginning and a new shot at the very end. Thank you for the information about the other appearances! I'm definitely going to try and remember them all!

Just watched the bit from the Talk and I'm watching the Late Late Show now (it's only got like two minutes left, don't think there's gonna be any more ASOUE talk than maybe "watch it on Netflix this Friday" or w/e). On both he talked a bit about the show, nothing we didn't already know, what it's about and who had a hand in it and what it was like to play Olaf and all that jazz, apparently his family visited B. Sonnenfeld's property in Colorado which isn't to do with the show but it's endearing to me. When asked how his kids were when they facetimed while he was in the various costumes he said "troubled."
The clip on both was the same, starting with the kids + Mr. Poe at the door to Olaf's house, ending with "don't forget your enormous fortune" and then a brief shot of the inside of the house. The one on the Talk was like two seconds longer at the beginning but they weren't a very interesting two seconds.

Yeah, at this point (or actually since about a week ago) I'm trying to avoid any new info until I see the thing.

Is it possible that they have got the people who did the fake trailer to do something, the way that other show (*waves hands*) did?

Very cool little teaser, though; really dig the atmosphere (esp. the quiet beginning, and the subtle bassy sound at the end). Love it if it was made exclusively for promo.
What about the 13 unlucky objects, though? I only counted 6 for sure, and am not sure about some of the others. Plus I don't know if we're supposed to count some of these in 3's or as one. I've got: Spilled salt (3x), broken mirror, black cat crossing from left to right, going under a ladder, an open umbrella in the house, Friday 13th on the calendar. And blind guesses for the rest: 3 candles, 3 bowls of rice and incense sticks(??), spilled marbles.
